You can safely do it on Windows as well so long as you leave a thread per GPU free so you have to configure FAH to use less CPU threads and not let it use all by default.

Wasn't my experience on that machine thus my comment, no matter how few threads I used it tanked the PPD of the GPU by more than the CPU gained.

huh RIP, not had a problem with that personally though at home I'm an AMD GPU user which for Windows and mixed CPU/GPU is more forgiving.

Yeah its a head scratcher, but as it works fine for gaming and its my gaming rig, I wasn't going to invest time in trying to figure it out.

 

We know Windows 11 has had some issues with AMD that are supposedly fixed, but as long as it doesn't impact my gaming I'm not going to fret about it.

Don't stress it too much. I had 2 doses of Pfizer earlier this year and got it over Thanksgiving. 2 weeks after testing negative I still have a hard time taking a deep breath. Lots of cough drops. This was for the greater good. Rest up pardner.

Anyone's that's requested a Milestone badge update in the F@H Badge request thread has gotten it. 

 

Event badges are separate. Those are handed out automatically, and will not be handed out/updated until after final results are posted.

Is the Covid event going to count for event badges?  So I'd qualify after the next event?

I'm not sure what you mean... We had a covid event, but it didn't count for an event badge... 

 

If you asking for another covid event, there are currently no plans to have another long event, but expect to have at least three events next year. Spring fold-a-long, Summer folding sprint and Folding Month Five (2022). Only Folding Month counts towards event badges

Although, I prefer to say you have only competed in one official event, I am thinking about going through all the events and working out who has been in which events for Folding Month Five

I've been a part of them all, both the short ones and the "official" (month) ones, but something was weird with the founding month event (I think it was 2 different signups that conflicted or something), so I'm not credited for it.

Yeah, there was an issue with the way LTT handled their prizes during the first folding month

Actually I think you joined up 11 days too late (I wasn't a mod at the time so I don't think I have access to that data). Your badge has you counted for 2019 & 2020 though. Theoretically you should be getting silver Event this year.
