Fan from xbox 360 as intake, wires spliced with ducktape, SSD mounted improperly, 20yo sound card, "aftermarket" speaker super glued to the bottom of the case, 290W OEM PSU, components that reach max PSU power rating, messy cables. But at least all the RAM matches. This Optiplex 9020 has been my daily driver that's never let me down.

This is far from a bad build. I personally like OptiPlex builds because... well it's as sleeper as you're gonna get. An old beige PC case from the 90s just gives it away since no one in the right mind would be daily-ing a Celeron running Windows 98 in 2020. 

 

It's just a Dell system that looks right at home in your office, or library. These cases are still ubiquitous so no one will bat an eye. Well until it's running stuff like Microsoft Flight Sim 2020 at high details and resolutions.

It was ASUS P4P800 with Pentium 4 2.4C, Highpoint SATA controller, Adaptec SCSI 29320-R and 4 HDD SATA RAID0 & 2 HDD SCSI Ultra320 10k (system & app).

Cable management was essentially whether or not you can get the side panel shut back in those days.

I would say that looks like some sort of Core 2 Duo, maybe quad system given that Gigabyte heatsink.

 

Edit: But that cooler does look like an AMD socket. mhmm Maybe Phenom II or Athlon since I feel like I've seen that style of VRM heatsink for Gigabyte AMD boards back in the day.

Smells like photoshop to me, if you look at the vents of the graphics card and the PSU it does seem pretty sketch
