Ikr? It was 24C outside today and we have our AC off for the rest of the year already cause it was like under 10 the last few days, my GPU temp went up with the rise in room temp. Thankfully it's gonna go back to under 10 for what looks like the rest of the year at least where I live.

I only leave once a day in the morning at most (less special reasons), was nice this morning. Don't want to head back out for no reason as much as I would like to, too many people willingly doing dumb stuff locally

 

Plus I live close to a testing center.

I'm inside 99.9% of the time at home these days.   I'm lucky to live just off a very quiet area where there are no sidewalks so you can go for a walk and get clear around any random person that might have the same idea.    By contrast I have not seen the downtown area since Feb.

It would be suicide if you stuck to no sidewalks here even if none existed (some roads), drivers see you as target practice(if they even see you), and think they don't have to give you any distance or yield in any way, those that do know the laws will go too extreme as tho they think they are driving a tank. Which is actually kind of comical seeing someone stopping a whole car length because you walked in front of them legally.

I feel you on that, my place is directly on an avenue that’s always busy, thankful for the sleepy burbs behind us.

 

every summer for 20 years me and my buds go out for a night of pub crawl, then walk across the city home shooting the shit over 20km. 
 

This is the first year that did not happen, have not seen em since Jan.  Fuck COVID I’m folding this prick in to the ground.

Winter. would be just about right for 2020 to have a masive ICE Storm take out the grid coast to coast...and Then a massive blizzard in the south where no one is ready and the states dont have a budget left for salt and sand, or removal.

After the last one I have battery banks, emergency solar, a biolite stove.... and ups units that can charge little stuff for days.

personally, had a fairly severe thunderstorm roll through my area as well. after closing my windows, it took about 10-15 minutes for the temperature in my room to reach 84F, a increase of 16 degrees

It's hot for you when it's only 24c, and here's me so happy because it's cooled down to the mid 20's during the day.

 

Its just past midnight and it's still 20c here, when I went outside to water the garden tonight I wore warm cloths and a jacket.

 

Now thailand is hot, usually in the high 20's at night with 100% humidity, and thats in winter, when I'm in thailand I live in ac all year round
