I'm surprised core21 is still active lol; come to think of it I think I got 1 for each of the unofficial folding events earlier this year as well.

I feel your pain, sounds like my kids 1060's single fan is starting to die. . . . it would be terrible if it went out and i had to replace it with my 1070Ti causing me to upgrade to a new gpu

Beyond that imo I would hold out on the second because that check could be the last one till further notice and might need the money elsewhere, unless unlike the Canadian Gov they give it to everyone working or not, then by all means if you're working still get the 2nd, more power.

 

For the RX580 if you don't need to sell it you can use it for extra points unless you can still sell it for a good price.

There have been blocks from both parties on further stimulus, but the US direct stimulus was regardless of job status.  There was also an unemployment bonus for a while to help ease that hit. 

 

This isn't a political forum, but I think I can answer you fairly simply (and while I won't disclose details, I am an elected official so I pay attention, though I'm not Congress).  There's the usual "we want this amount in column A and B vs how much you want in A and B" (and the total too), as well as "this is how the funds in A must be handled" being different, but there's also a couple "only our party wants this, and we won't do anything without it" on each side (more of the "you must include X" on the Dem side and more of the "never with X" on the Rep side, but a little of both for each).  They really should just all drop the politics and pass a basic re-funding of things like the paycheck assistance to small businesses (despite some of the oddities on what has been considered "small") and direct stimulus (even if a smaller amount), but the closest thing to that hasn't managed to make it through either the house or senate.

As for the RX580, yeah.  Sell it while you can without there being a low end 3000 or 6000 series announced yet, or just plan to run it into the ground.

Careful @LazyDev  @GOTSpectrum I have called in Reinforcements We will see what happens. Though the side effect of said reinfocements may not be truely felt till Wednesday update...But i plan to make it as painful as i can for yall..

welp after fixing driver issue on main pc. folding like a champ. my 6 core one not wanting to get work now. i rebooted it,

Failed to connect to 171.67.108.157:80: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

any way to fix it? seeing its the only pc that not dl wu

I have even weirder problem. My right GPU fan bearing sounds like an airplane taking off but only between 45% and 60%. Below and above that it works fine.
