DANG IT my CPUs KEEP GOING HUGRY Baby sitter had ~20 interventions lastnight  

i havn't had my babysitter kick in on both my server and my main system yet, but i also have another server running with just two CPU's (L5650's) and in the entire event it only got maybe 6 or 7 WU's.

I walked in to my office to find it was a nice temperature... aka... it's the regular Monday morning WU shortage

i walked into my office it was 50 this morning as i left the windows open and fans on and no shortage in my office except fot my 3 ULV systems. and iZac but every time babysitter acted on him he got a WU. oh did i mention its 30f -1c for those not American   out here this morn...in other words the damage wasn't as bad as i first thought it was...

lol so is saying good to running out of WUs  but n that case i hope your fan survives...

OK I'm done hovering about 100ish, flown out so all I have now is my 1070 that might get to do 1 or 2 WUs a day and often with pauses, will just be able to hold the 1 WU/day but points won't move much anymore

that's odd. maybe it's time to invest in a UPS of some kind.

It happens very infrequently, maybe 2-3 times a year.

 

Plus I am in a covid induced period of 'extreme fiscal efficiency' AKA I haven't worked my paid job in months and I'm feeling the effects

So your setup isn't on UPSs? Brownouts can reset computers too not just outages.
