well have a friend i will be visiting Tuesday after work...he may be of help...Suicide booth has room for 2 cards currently has a gt730 but well it sucks and can be pulled...he has a few older cards need to see what hes got...

They potentially use too much watts and may need to run 24/7, plus the ones locally are basically the same cost as a freezer which means one might as well buy a freezer, no disassembly required Also if no disassembly intended, if done right with a freezer, no maintenance .

It is five weeks, I'm just impressed that none of us have noticed this before now...

 

I'll get around to editing it at some point. 

 

My dyslexia sometimes plays up when it comes to dates, just ask @marknd59 what the dates have been like on the sheet!

This is many, many times above full power.

I would class full power as whatever you do the most consistently that is sustainable.

Yes, so you should test and prove your theories and probably move the topic to a forum for people doing DIY crazy impractical mods that involve 300watt chest freezers. 

 

The context/thread this was introduced under was about liquid cooling F@H machines that are typically 24/7 unattended or personal gaming rigs you want to use daily so you would not be doing insane filling and flushing of ice, water, opening and closing 300watt freezers full of custom coils etc. like you're trying to benchmark against deR8auer.  

 

I mean if we're just making up stuff obviously the best F@H cooling solution is a 8X 3090 rig with a corsair nuclear reactor to power those GPUs resting in an Olympic sized swimming pool full of liquid nitrogen cooling that has RGB. 

I don't have any spares of that gear right now to prove it, but if I did... believe me... that would be a show stopper that would only need to work once in a million to prove it was the best idea for cooling a rig.

You might not want to be publishing  refrigeration advice if you know you have a known leak and don't replace the $20 door seal, then defrost your chest freezer with it plugged in and running as you seem to be implying. 

 

Or you have a model that does not run the compressor when the lid is open wide enough, in which case it's not the same as it running under load continuously and does not prove the point you were trying to make. 

 

Or the more likely outcome... your arguing on a forum for sport.

 

On a personal note, not all repair shops are scammers, more often then not it's peoples misuse and not reading the instructions on appliances that lead to common breakdowns, then not wanting to hear they did something wrong and passing the blame on to the repair person "THAT MUST BE SCAMMING THEM" when it's time to literally pay for their mistakes.

 

Felt the urge to comment on this originally as it seemed to be framed more as a crazy, but sort of practical F@H rig cooling question / thought that might be looking for an answer and thought I could help out.  My mistake.
