No idea, I'm running without a Team for now on my Daily Driver just to see the performance.

 

Sent a PM to Liquidis Plumbing via Rosetta to ask whomever that is to create a team

@leadeater just go ahead and create a LinusTechTips_Team team and you can change the founder (and management) to Liquidis Plumbing once we figure out who that is.

 

We should get a BOINC-Wide Team setup probably.

Added. Can confirm it shows up on both the project site and in BOINC Manager. Cross-project links seem to be in order. 

 

My only concern is how stats would be reported to the SETI-Germany/BOINC Pentathlon site if Ibercivis doesn't show up on BOINCstats's active projects list. From where and how do they pull the numbers?

Just finished filling up my last bunker for Javelin with tasks before Throw3 starts. I should have 625,000 points ready before the start of Throw3 and should be able to contribute an additional 200,000 points over the course of a throw so 825,000 total meaning we'd need and additional 675,000 points of contributions from other Team members.

Pulled as much work as I can for sprint, suspended waiting Marathon tasks and everything will switch over to Sprint and will bunker till the start/end. This does mean we won't be passing P3D in Marathon too btw.

Awww. I was gonna make a meme to respond to @Gorgon with about how it's my time to shine with a new CPU only project but if there's no tasks available what's the point in it now...

After 35% total time is up to 10hours. Suspended tasks and put the threads back to Rosetta

So unless they announce Throw5 on Javelin starting on the 16th at 00:00GMT (the next update time and last time they could do so) it has to be either the 17th-18th or 18th-19th.

 

So I will assume we are deferring Throw4 and start uploading my earlier bunkers after Throw3 starts. Last time it took about 2 1/2 hours for the backlog from the start to clear so I'll likely wait until then so I can see if there are any issues.

I think I might be on to something as to why my 5960X rig is being finicky.

 

Despite running WCG on it 24/7 for 8 months with a 4.5GHz overclock. There is the very real possibility the rig stops responding on Rosetta because it's a different kind of workload.

 

I think my rig may just be unstable.

Yeeeeaah, and the 5960X rig is out of the running...s***...why Ubuntu. Why do you ask me to install all updates before upgrading when you discontinue the update servers forcing me to clean install?

 

Welp. I think I have the time to install Ubuntu Server 20.04 today. I really don't want to but...FOR THE TEAM!!!
