Found my GPU folder was lame for the last 8 hours and change.  Never bothered to download another WU.  Had to reboot the stupid PC to get it going again.  Since I never ever ever look at that system, this will probably happen often where I don't get anything going on for large portions of a day.  :(

Guys, I think I have a problem.

I ordered a 2080TI, but have no place for it in my tower..

I might be addicted to this..

 

I will have to relocate my 1080 to my server, and hope to get it working in a vm, without code 43 errors. Or better yet, find an old xeon v3 or v4, or I7 for LGA2011-v3 and utilize some spare parts (mobo, memory, psu etc) that i have laying around, and make a second folding rig.

You can just exit the client and restart it, usually fixed it

If you let us know your hardware too we can let you know if that is what you should be getting or if your leaving points on the table. Also if you look at the EOC team page it shows how many people are producing over what thresholds in the team next to the top 20 producers.

so assuming the 1080ti is producing 1.3m of it then its 1m that hes pulling from 5 cpus? which cpus are they?

It's going to be 90F tomorrow... miiiiiiiiiiight see a dip in my folding performance lol.

 

Also, anyone with multiple cards having issues with 1 getting stuck on unknown download?

He says he is using 4x4700k and 1x9700k which should produce total of 1m... Also, his EOC says that he is producing avg 3.5m and sometimes spikes to 4.8m... Check this out:

Yeah that's pretty crazy for just cpu and 1 gpu. I'm pretty sure there was another gpu in the mix there.

Yeah this is a problem that is mostly solved but there are a few assignment servers that had some networking issues that were causing stuck slots and failed downloads like that but they changed the load to not favor those effected servers so it is a lot less likely to end up with that problem.

I've been folding for like 3 or 4 weeks now on CPU cores only and have only just now hit over 500k points.  Some of you guys getting millions of points per day is wild.  I guess that what happens when you trust 4 of the 6 CPU cores in and old ass Phenom 2, ?
