There isn't really any sort of difficult math involved with flying. Some simple stuff like weight & moment calculations, linear interpolation to determine aircraft performance, calculating ground speed and magnetic heading based on the winds, etc. For example, on my private pilot checkride, the examiner had me calculate our ground speed while in the air without using the GPS. I would expect that's the type of things they mean when referring to "industrial math".

I have a full time corporate job

I own 3 small business's

I grew up in foster care, emancipated at 15 and barely passed High School so it has nothing to do with my upbringing

My next step is saving up a chunk of investable income that will yield quarterly dividends...albeit small at first, each trickle of income becomes a stream, becomes a river, and enters the ocean.

Worked at mcdonalds at 14-15. 16-21 I worked in a warehouse. (During that time I also worked the "print room" printing tens of thousands of pieces of paper a day, sorting, and bringing it out to the warehouse floor.) Decided it was time for college as warehouse life couldn't be for life. During college I worked at an indoor trampoline park as a maintenance engineer. (Build cool things and repair the park)

 

After college I've been working in IT ever since. It's strange... desk jobs...
