Recently, however, the focus has been shifting over and out to what lies beyond the Earth’s atmosphere. Some are contemplating colonizing Mars while others are promising elevators into space by 2050. One way or another, there are many elements about life in space that need careful consideration and research…especially sex. As such, Pornhub is teaming up with top ranking adult studio Digital Playground in joining the ranks of Armstrong and Gagarin by pioneering a one of a kind mission to defy gravity, make history, and push the boundaries of intergalactic "Sexploration" by filming the first ever sextape in space. In doing so, we will not only be changing the face of the adult industry, we will also be chronicling how a core component of human life operates while in orbit.

With some help from our generous fan base and extended community, we can all make this happen. Our work is definitely cut out for us. We need to train and outfit our crew, consult with a dedicated team of specialists, purchase custom modified film equipment, and completely fund the use of the shuttle that’ll take us on our journey to space. We’ve projected that the overall cost of this pioneering endeavor will run us about $3.4 million. Where is the $3.4 million dollars going? The vast majority, of 60%, of our costs will be absorbed by what goes in to making the flight happen. This includes training and space suits for our crew as well as general space travel. 21% of the funds needed is mostly related to the actual production of the film for things like specially adapted gear as well as the overall general costs affliated with the creation of a high quality sex tape. Because space travel of any kinds comes with its unique risks despite careful planning and every precaution being taken, we also want to pay our talent fairly. The rest will help  take care of getting the perks out to our funders, covering our insurance costs and paying Indiegogo their standard 4% fee.

Who is going to be filming the video?

We have contracted top adult video studio Digital Playground to shoot and produce the video for us. You may know them from their hit films Pirates and Apocalypse X.

When will perks be delivered?

The perks will be shipped during the 2 weeks following the release of the Sexploration. Delivery time will vary according to location and packages will be fully trackable. 

When will the perks that include a sneak peek be delivered?

An access code will be emailed to the address provided 48 hours prior to the official release

Is shipping included in the price of the perk?

Yes.

How will funders be kept informed during and after the campaign?

Regular updates will be made both on our IndieGoGo page as well as on thePornhub Twitter feed.

When will the movie be made?

That depends on your generosity! Following the end of our campaign, our crew will receive 6 months of rigorous training before they’re able to be launched into space. Once trained and certified, our team members will be entering space via a consumer space shuttle.

 

When will it be released?

We expect Sexplorations to launch late 2016.

If the project doesn’t reach its funding goal, do I get my money back?

Yes! We opted for fixed funding for this exact reason.

How does one have sex in anti-gravity?

That's what we're hoping to find out, but yes, it is physically possible according to our research.
