I had thought that the pressure suits for pilots were so that all the blood doesn't get pulled out of their head when they bank a turn. With microgravity your heart probably doesn't have to exert a lot of force to get blood around your body, at least not as much as it does on earth.

What they need to do is what they did in 2001: Space Odyssey (and pretty much every other sci fi film or novel) is make a spaceship/station that has a spin, so that you have artificial gravity for you and your sex buddies, and the resulting pregnancies don't end in horrible deformations.

 

You know, we could try making babies on an artificial gravity spaceship, and just gently raise the setting every now and then. if you had kids who were born and raised at 1.2G, taking them down to earth, they'd be pretty jacked.

They'd experience muscular atrophy and bone degradation from the difference in gravity. Also, according to everyone else, your heart has difficulty pumping blood in a Zero-G environment. Apparently a majority of your blood pools in your upper body for whatever reason.
