Pornhub Space Program - Sexploration [indiegogo] ( sex in space is happening! )

Nineshadow

.....I'm now seriously considering moving to space lol

You would have to go there with an existing erection and a cockring though. or a special machine that would pump blood into your penis, because its extremly hard to actually produce an erection in space, due to the fact there is very little gravitational acceleration.

I've never understood how that can be true when an erection is caused by blood pressure. How does gravity come into play?

I bet I can get an erection out of someone even in space. ;)

because of the lack of gravity the blood goes to the point with the biggest gravitational force, normally it would be downwards to the core of the earth, but in space it would be your head/brain(or sawdust holder for that matter) no matter the blood pressure, gravitational force's win.

May the light have your back and your ISO low.

That doesn't make sense to me because your circulatory system is a closed system under pressure. Your blood doesn't just sit there, it's constantly being pumped around by your heart, and the concentration (where you blood flow is being concentrated) being changed by vessels and arteries contracting or relaxing. I know high gravity can cause red outs and black outs (like in a fighter jet or a centrifuge), but to my understanding, that's because those forces are greater than your body can handle. Whereas in space there is simply a lack of gravity (for the most part), and I can't see your bodies own natural gravity being strong enough to fight your bodies ability to do these things.

It's counter-intuitive to me, I would think your body would have an easier time of it because it's fighting a lot less gravity than it is on Earth. Not saying you're right or wrong, just that it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

And the saw dust comment wasn't really necessary.

the heart has trouble just generally pumping blood due to lack of gravity

Again, sounds counter-intuitive. I would think gravity would make it more difficult as your heart would have to fight gravity to get the blood from your feet back up into your body (as an example). Or fight gravity to force the blood up into your head

yes but the gravity is what holds you together in the right shape, without it, it all gets kinda mushy mushy and that changes the shape of your heart, making it inefficient. at the same time, since there is no universal acceleration applied to the blood, it will have little incentive to go down, and will generally flow harder through your body

That's true. I also hadn't taken into account that without the extra effort provided by gravity, your heart would atrophy like the rest of your muscles do as a result of working in zero-g (reading a wikipedia article about it now)

don't forget that bloodvessels have a type of valves inside which allow the bloodflow to go... nevermind =)

seems trik already got it

Sort of. Now I've found an article, referenced by wikipedia, that mentions something about the possibility of those with poor blood circulation, having their circulation actually improved by a weightless environment.

Although, since it's just a .com and not a .org or something, I'm not sure how accurate that claim might, be, if at all.

I personally cant think of a reason why that would work, but neither of any reason why not, it leaves me doubtfull though.

P.S.

the sawdust comment wasn't aimed at you ;)  more random comment concerning the people who fund this or totally hype about it on some sites.

Oh, okay lol

Meh, I still think sex in zero-g would be easier than they make it out to be (I saw a discussion on it, can't remember where). They claim the mechanics wouldn't work and that people would need some kind of device or special room (they showed off a cloth tunnel that people could crawl into, and that would rotate). I think maybe the people at NASA just don't know how to bang lol

While I might be a virgin, I've "studied" my fare share of techniques, and would be more than willing to give it a try lol

microgravity makes normal things difficult, because well we have bodies designed for earth gravity. eating...weird. lets not get into the space toilets...space pregnancy...point being microgravity messes everthing up. EVERYTHING

Oh I'm sure it causes a lot of problems. I've been reading the wiki article about the heath effects of a zero g environment.. Seems like they need pressure suits like what fighter pilots wear (that squeeze their bodies)

I had thought that the pressure suits for pilots were so that all the blood doesn't get pulled out of their head when they bank a turn. With microgravity your heart probably doesn't have to exert a lot of force to get blood around your body, at least not as much as it does on earth.

What they need to do is what they did in 2001: Space Odyssey (and pretty much every other sci fi film or novel) is make a spaceship/station that has a spin, so that you have artificial gravity for you and your sex buddies, and the resulting pregnancies don't end in horrible deformations.

You know, we could try making babies on an artificial gravity spaceship, and just gently raise the setting every now and then. if you had kids who were born and raised at 1.2G, taking them down to earth, they'd be pretty jacked.
