A long time ago my dad sat next to him on a flight once and I guess that they talked a lot and got along. Stan Lee had a Marvel gift package of comics and other small items mailed to me and my brother.

I'm very saddened by this news, guy was a legend. He had a very good innings at 95 years old, but he will still be greatly missed. I don't normally "do" with celebrity deaths etc, but I make exceptions for this as he has always been a big icon, and he seemed a very down to earth kind of person.
