Looking to build a new pc. This will be my first time so I don't know a lot about it. I will be using this pc for gaming and maybe recording. Please let me know if this is a good build or not.

Seems like a great build, but if you are just going to play and record games, an AMD gpu is still better in this case, you can get a 7900GRE for a bit cheaper, which has better performance and more VRAM. It would also be better to get 6000MHz cl30 RAM like this, as that is the sweet spot for modern CPUs, you are going to barely get any more performance after that

Looks decent but I’d get a 7800X3D and a 7900 xt

have you got a micro center nearby? If so then you can reduce the price of the build by about $100 by getting a bundle there with a 7800X3D, mobo and ram
