iPhone 8 is worlds "hottest" smartphone

I've just accepted that HTC will cease to exist someday as a phone manufacturer.

They keep shooting themselves in the foot for dumb reasons like with the U12+, where they removed the headphone jack but have the audacity to not supply an adapter and knowing how messed up Android and USB-C is, it won't be easy finding one that properly works.

Odd imo. I'm really not happy with mine. I was expecting more than 3 hours of use out of a flagship device and the bezels are huge. The general ios experience is also not my cup of tea. After 6 months the battery has degraded 12%...

I really see where the appeal in apple phones is but after this I'm moving to a company where I don't feel like I'm being ripped off for cheap hardware and paying for the logo on the back. The fastest mobile processor means nothing when the battery is crap

Well, when they slap against your ankles every step you take I had assumed it would be necessary to do it more frequently.

It's more uncomfortable when they slap against someone else's ankles and they try to adjust them for me.

If they slap against someone else you have poor ball control and you should practice ball handling more vigorously. It's an essential skill to have. A man who is not in control of him and his is no man at all.

I find my ball handling skills to be quite good, the problem was the old lady at coles who couldn't help herself and the manager who fancies himself an expert referee.

Why not Nokia 6/6.1 instead?

Maybe 7 pluss. Not entirely shure the exact pricepoint of the SE

I’d take a look at  your charging behavior. Doesn’t sound right. At the worst it should be 1% per month.

And the thing is that AFAIK the battery is under warranty for 1 year and at 80% life. So I might not even be able to claim an issue with the device. I'll take it in to the carrier at some point and see

Yes, definitely get that checked out and tell us how it goes please! I hope it’s a one off fling and not normal behavior. I’ve had my 6s Plus for 2 years and I’m at 82%

I have a friend with an 8 Plus and after about 5 months (very roughly) his battery is at 98%... At this point I'm going to ask to swap for an S8 or something from the carrier. Apple is great for their market but I'm not part of that. I'm the kinda guy that would run DOS on a phone :P

This suggests that Apple's strategy last year may have been the right one.  The iPhone X was the key to late fall/winter sales as the device for early adopters and gotta-have-the-best types, but the iPhone 8 series is the bread-and-butter model that takes sales late into the cycle.  It's the device for everyone whose contract just expired or phone just broke.

The study doesn't tell the whole story, since the S9's sales are very close and many of the OEMs sell more than just those models on the charts.  With that said, if Apple is doing this well despite criticisms of the X's price and the 8's more-of-the-same design... should the rumors of a 6.1-inch lower-cost iPhone X counterpart prove true, Apple will annihilate other vendors in Q4 (and possibly Q3).  It'll be the first truly new iPhone at a price point that earlier buyers are used to, and may lure those people who were thinking of jumping from an Android phone but didn't want to settle for an aging design.  And that's not including claims that the direct sequel to the iPhone X might cost less.

Could be temperature. Cells are sensitive to heat and cold.

You would be vapourised before contact with the start. Combustion also requires a source of oxygen so your thorax would suddenly catch fire as well as most components with available oxygen, then be vapourised.

I personally recommend flying into the plasma jet expelled by a quasar.

I don't really get it ... Why is an overpriced , second-rate iphone 7 refresh beating out everything else?

Because it has the performance of the X without the annoying qwerks of the X. The people I know how have the X get quite annoyed by it. Having to swipe to unlock even after Face ID verifies you is one annoyance they have. The whole Face ID Emoji thing, they never touched it after the second week.
