iPhone 8 is worlds "hottest" smartphone

If it weren’t for text looking sharper on higher resolutions then almost nobody could tell the difference. To be frank, I am more than satisfied with my “low res” iPhone 7 screen. But I will confess that the Samsung S8 has a nicer, sharper screen. But I’d rather not be plagued with Touch Wiz lol

The iP8 and iPX, to me, look ever so slightly fuzzy, just the perfect amount to be extremely annoying.

Whereas I've never found TW to be bad, from my S4 to my S8

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

Pyo.

What percentage would you suggest that should be used then?

How about 80% (i.e. 1440p screens)

How about not having poor speakers and horrible buggy software first?

Some truth to this article. My sister recently bought an iPhone 8. I asked her why...

She said it's going to be the last iPhone with a fingerprint reader. I don't want faceid.

She wants the fastest processor and a new battery in an iPhone to see her through 2 years.

First point you maid isn’t a big. The second point assumes that AirPods are the only Bluetooth headphones in existence.

Both are dishonest statements.

I mean honestly if I were to want to use iOS I can see why the 8 is more popular.  I mean sure the X is nice but I can't justify paying over 1000 on a smartphone.

I'm still a sucker for my S8+ though maybe because I have it paid off and its the first phone I bought with my own money i don't know.  There are certain specific things I do need my Android device for though.

This is subjective - some people indeed are 100% OK with the currently fixed grid layout system that iOS has had since version 1 many moons ago. In fact, as someone providing tech support, I actually favor the grid layout because it means I can always help someone navigate their iOS device without wondering what launcher they're using, or if their launcher ever supports widgets properly, for instance.

On the other hand, I found Apple's lack of customization to be a large bother when I had my iPad 4 because I group my icons by screen corners on all devices, from my desktop to my laptop to my Android phone. It's not a better way to organize, but it's the way that happens to work for me. Being unable to do this on iOS just frustrated me to no end. I'd love for iOS to get a pro-mode where users can "break out of the box" while remaining in the wonderful mature world of iOS apps.

Desktop: KiRaShi-Intel-2022 (i5-12600K, RTX2060) Mobile: OnePlus 5T | Koodo - 75GB Data + Data Rollover for $45/month
Laptop: Dell XPS 15 9560 (the real 15" MacBook Pro that Apple didn't make) Tablet: iPad Mini 5 | Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 10.1
Camera: Canon M6 Mark II | Canon Rebel T1i (500D) | Canon SX280 | Panasonic TS20D Music: Spotify Premium (CIRCA '08)

Gonna need something more substantive than your recollections from 7 years ago.

How about you compare the OLED 2960x1440 or 2560x1440 screens from the  S9, S8, S7, S6 to Apples for a more objective comparison.

That’s not the full story though. The iPhone 8 is frequently bundled with cell phone plans with more attractive deals  than the iPhone X. The difference in price between the 8 and the X is larger that way.

Because to to be frank, buying a phone outright at full MSRP is kinda bizarre. Unless it’s a budget/midrange phone of course.

That specific comment was regarding Retina MacBook Pros. 13” models start at 2560x1600
