Hmm... Some people blame the issues of G9 on DSC, thoughts?

 

I'm still waiting for an issue free G9 equivalent monitor to arrive, but given current bandwidth limitation, DSC is pretty much required

We are most definitely pushing the limits of display technologies out there for cable bandwidth currently and it will only continue to outpace cable tech sadly the way its been going the last 3-5 years. They really need to come up with a scalable technology such as optical that basically has unlimited bandwidth available and figure out how to make the technology cheap enough to be able to make it affordable. @GDRRiley and I had a chat on this a few weeks back actually and he has some good knowledge on this.

Also had some HDMI issues with it but hey just said they would replace the parts anyway :Ø

yeah as a fiber nerd at work I do know some about trying to push faster and faster speeds over copper and fiber

200gb sucks over copper but isn't to bad over fiber.

The possibility would always exist, but mods are hired for how they moderate. It's a completely different skillset to being a forum administrator and effectively building the forum in the back end.

Not sure how much experience Mortis had with these things at the beginning, but it would be a very hard role to step into without already knowing a lot about the forum software and how to maintain it.

i am, i did a custom prompt and then just kept pressing enter, i did no additional interactions except adding the new people's names by using the edit button and sticking it on the end and just letting the AI go ham.
