Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

Never tried that shit. Is it like a banana split kinda flavor? or is it some artificial banana flavor?

I would love that kinda weather right now. I really hated above 90 degree weather. You can only take off so much clothing to keep cool.

82. here. But the thing is the mornings were at 42. It's this point of the year when you wear a sweater but soon regret it later in the day.

That's gonna be us in a couple months. Can't wait for that weather, bc I can layer the fuck up and I can shed some of those as the day progresses.

I keep looking at photos of my car and continue to second guess selling it. Might try and buy a cheap beater and make the Saab a weekend car. Idk. I love this thing too much.

Here's to hoping. If I decide to keep it breather mods are a must. Get my downpipe on, full intake, front mount, and probably an upgraded radiator.

Along with boost and oil pressure gauges.

That's a pretty bold statement considering the Mclaren P1 will top out at 350km/hr, so it will never do 0-400-0.

What'd they do remove the limiter? Fiddle with the gearing a bit?

The amount of power needed to go from 350km/h to 400km/h is enormous. So without major engine modifications, i'd be very surprised if you could get there.

That said, comparing a factory (I know stretching for a Koenigsegg) car to a modified car is always a messed up comparison.

Thought they were limited to 217 and without that limiter theyd do 240?

I'm not sure exactly what they're capable of without the limiter, but 240mph is 386KM/H, so still short of 400.

Yea, the do have 'only' 900hp tho, and afaik all 250mph+ cars have over 1k hp

Website claims that it has ~730 engine hp, and then a combined total of just above 900. Where as the Agera RS (with power upgrade to make it the same as the One:1) has above 1,300 hp. Chiron has ~1,500.

The thing that I think is nuts is that all of the Koenigsegg's are all RWD.

Im talking about their innovation. And if they wanted to im sure they could. 720s tops out at 360 km/h with no electric motors.

McLaren certialy has more resources, but Koenigsegg seems to make better use of theirs.
