Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

checked the last few pages, looks like nobody posted this yet

as usual TMI changes the shocks from the original Ohlins, but at least they're doing JRi now and not some generic cheapo shocks like they did when they just started building Atoms...

Huh. I didn't even know about a sedan. The RS2 was a reaaaaly fast car back in the day. It was actually a joint venture between Audi and Porsche. Stuff like the brakes were porsche designed and made. Pretty sure the RS2s were built in the Porsche factory too. CP1.jpg

Closest to the rs2 sedan that you could get is probably the V8.

Or you do what this guy did. http://www.theprojectpad.com/viewtopic.php?t=1474&p=65200

Custom pinewood case, Corsair CX 600WRampage 3 Extreme, i7 980x (@4.2ghz) with ML240 Cooler MSI GTX 970, 24gb DDR3, 240gb OCZ Tr150 SSD + 2Tb Seagate Baracuda.

noooo ... you absolutely cant get a V8 if you want the RS2 ... it has the 2.2 20V turbo I5

and yeah, made by porsche with porsche brakes in the same factory as the MB 500E xD

also the V8 was the Audi 100/200/5000 with a fancy hood and a V8 and the RS2 is an Audi 80 avant with fancy everything but the shell IIRC

Yeah, but i was referring to just general 'experience'.

The V8 was still really cool though, and you can pick one up for a decent price.

yeah i know, but its not the same, the V8 has like 260HP IIRC, the RS2 had like 300HP and the RS2 has to be lighter

Step 1: Add turbo.

Step 2: Remove interior.

Step 3: Give up.

Step 4: Sell a kidney.

Step 5: Get an RS2.

the RS2 is so rare, that you could easily get a V10 RS6 before the RS2 xD

Started watching Mr.Robot and spotted this

SBdXmGZ.png

Nothing special. Just a near-mint celica liftback. Which is sarcasm of course.

I wonder if they just wanted something old to play off as a "crap car" Or if they wanted to hint at the character that owns it is a car enthusiast.

It's quite strange how it has the same motor as the LS400, but the LS makes less power and torque. Why?

Tuning and weight difference I assume

Really the LS should be the one making more pwr bc it has a higher weight penalty.

I always leave my hitch in.

After the second time walking into it, I learned to walk around it.

So do i if i have one.

Doesn't stop me from walking into hitches on other cars occasionally.

Might not happen for five or maybe ten years. But they are out there. Waiting.

And when you least expect it. They strike! with that all too familiar 'THUNK

Usually followed by its victim swearing and hobbling away.

Then there are the three point hitches found on tractors. And green things pretending to be tractors

That are just outright out for blood
