Oh got the new clutch in btw. At least I have something... lol

 

cant wait to not have clutch judder. Gonna be so nice. 

 

hopefully we can have the engine before next weekend... have to call first thing Monday morning

 

while there isn't anything special about the clutch. It seems well made. Really cool to see one, I've never actually seen one in person before lol

while the back seats of the BRZ are useless for people, they can fit a good bit of stuff. and the trunk is pretty spacious too.

yeah if i buy the brz, i'd have the back seats be cargo duty instead of passenger duty, since i'm pretty tall, so the seat is pretty far back, meaning no space for legs.

oh yeah, and i think my corolla is actually suffering from a misfire. because sometimes at idle it will just shudder, but the thing is, at speed it doesn't feel like its misfiring, but like when i pop the hood in the garage, you can hear it misfire. so far i limited it to the spark plug, coil, or the fuel injector. @vetali any ideas? it's the standard 1.8 inline 4 found in all corollas from 2009-2011 except in the xrs trim.

If there is no check engine light I wouldn't worry.

there was a check engine light but the dealer cleared it, but i think it might come back.

Stock is 22 lbs. next step down is 14(I think)... I want a lighter one but I'm concerned about noise. While I know it won't really make a difference at AutoX, they don't want you having one and I don't want them to hear it. The extra rev-happiness would be awesome though... especially for rev matching. I've always found it that I have to blip the throttle quite a bit, feel like it should be better than that

 

that wont throw off the balance of the rotating assembly though, right? I'd assume no if it's from a reputable brand
