Car Enthusiast Club [Now Motorcycle friendly!] - First thread to 150k! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

To be fair you have to rev out the BRZ to make any power so there is that. Besides HP sells cars torque wins races.

well yeah... I mean it had some torque down low, the mid range was pretty much dead, and then it felt as if it would pull nicely up high, but then it shifts and you lose that good feeling about it. Kinda sad.

That engine feels like it needs a turbo. give it some mid range back and it'll be very fun.

Problem is it's a subaru boxer so it might explode idk lol

ND does it better and faster.

i kept telling him he should of bought an ND.. with a manual :P

To be fair he is from mississippi and needed a car he can fit stuff in so he can travel back and forth every now and then lol

while the back seats of the BRZ are useless for people, they can fit a good bit of stuff. and the trunk is pretty spacious too.

Tom yum is a soup base. Like miso but not as seasoned.

So I finally bought a car. Its a 09 987.2 Porsche Boxster in "Porsche Racing Green" (essentially British racing green). I have a couple of cool modifications planned for it including green carbon mirrors (which I am in the process of buying the mirrors and the green candy paint). Also will have better pictures soon when it stops raining. The car looks a lot better when the sun is out.

I did but I could not find any in a similar year without either mechanical problems or a really high price. Plus I kind of fell in love with this spec

Lovely spec on yours.

Edit: I really love the green. It's far too common with bland colors (Black, Grey, Silver).

Toyota transmission but a Subaru engine. That right there makes me view it more as a Subaru then a Toyota.
