Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

A carbd engine is way easier to get running than something with fuel injection.

But they're still gonna be too incompetent to get this thing running. I guarantee it. You see how many issues they had turboing a Miata even with a standalone ECU?

Be very careful and check over all the pieces before installing. Push a rag through each pipe if your can to remove any possible metal shaving left from manufacturing. I would also flush out the intercooler by sloshing water through it, then blowing it out with compressed air. Just to be safe.

Good shout. These intercoolers were freshly made I believe so I'll make sure to clean them before install.

I just ordered my Intercooler and charge pipes kit for the ST. I spent less on the full kit than I would have on a single intercooler from somewhere like cp-e or god forbid COBB or Vortec ($800???)

Yeah, they are pretty expensive.

Wow.

My friend came over to try out my Ducati (since he rides motorcycles), and beforehand I found out the battery had died. So when he got there we went on a quick search for a battery, couldn't find any, I mean what auto parts store carries batteries for a Ducati Superbike? So we went back, I ended up jump starting it with my mom's Sorento xD

We got it going, and as my friend put it in gear, it just died. Luckily it had enough charge to start again, put it in gear, died. Third time the battery was dead again smh

My friend had to get going, so he ended up leaving. Then the thought came to me that the bike has a side stand safety switch, so if the stand is down when you pop it into gear it will cut the engine.

So silly. xD I'm going to order a new battery that way I don't sell it with a dead battery lol.

Can't believe we got a Seagate "business" NAS with 4 2TB drives for $250 lol

The drives only have 1000ish hours on them too. Wat

eBay steal lol

I have it as a RAID 5 array so 6TB of usable space.. then we have the 2TB time capsule in the other room too so that's makes 8TB of network storage with most of it being a bit more reliable than 1 drive with no backup lol

You can do anything when you have no hood on your car

I find it funny as fuck that my electric bicycle which is technically a motorbike, goes faster then those stupid fucking 125cc scooters.

I wish I could see their faces behind the full face helmet as I pull away from them in the bicycle lane at the light.

Looking at peoples scared faces on the sidewalk as I zip by them, inches away.

I laugh as my ear phones are pumping out Ozzy Osbourne.

Had my first fan today, as I brought my ebike onto the transit train. He was slobbering bad, beer in hand, spitting, mumbling something. He wanted to know how much and I said $2500, then where to buy it, I told him, then he offered me his cousins 2009 truck. I said Chief, I want cash not stolen goods. Wished him a good night, and hopped on my bike on the platform and wizzed by the train driver walking to the other end of the train at the end of the line.

A pedestrian waiting to cross at a light, was eyeballing my bike hard, I told him what it was, a quick back and forth for 20 seconds and I twisted the throttle and gone.

What I need is a 2.00x17 motorcycle rim, thats my next hunt. Fuck the torque that would produce is astronomical. Might even go smaller custom rim, say 14" welded on spokes.

Oh me so horny

I'm pretty sure that you're able to use whichever motorcycle battery, as long as it fits.

There is no such thing as a Ducati-branded battery.

Edit: And if you have one, then try placing the old battery on a trickle charger. It might just bring the old one back to life.
