by the way the world is going how do you think the far far future will be

so I want to start off by saying lets base this question off of there is no end of the world yet people say it wont happen for 5 billion years anyway. 

 

how do you think the future will be in lets say, 100, 500, and 10,000 years from now based off how life and the world is right now. now most people won't think very deep and will base it off one subject like techlonly, population, food, politics etc.. 

try to base it off all of that if you can.

 

a few years back you would ask people and they would say there would be an aployase or some catastrophe that ends life as we know it and throws us back in a stone age. now i mostly hear about robots taking over or companys like apple or google just ruling technology and running our whole lives making us like a sims game for them.  then theres the donald trump kills us all with war in like 2 years. im just curious to what you guys think. to me this is like a whats the afterlife like type of question but worse becase we will never know the answer to this one.

As long as the world goes on like it is now, there will surely be an end not so far away for humans.

 

If humanity rethinks what is important, and we move on to a kind of ideology gene roddenberry came up for with star trek, we learn to use our resources wisely, needing no money, being able to do what you feel destined to... then there might be a bright future ahead.

they seem to be looking at space for the future now. instead of trying to do better with what we have

This won't really help, until we all rethink how to use our resources, stopping the excessive consumerism type, the corporate thinking of ever growing profits...

We need greater globalization and interdependence. We must eradicate poverty and put a stop to all wars, crazy authoritarian regimes, genocides, human rights abuse,  and discriminations world wide. We need an universal and global institution which is impartial to all countries to decide how to share our planets resources and enforce everything I had listed above. 

 

Only if we accomplish these will we finally have the socio-political framework to finally advance into type I civilization and realized many of humanity’s aspirations.

Once we work out how to automate all the jobs, the only issue left will be wealth distribution. Currently wealth is distributed based on work, so if we can overcome the hurdles of how to redistribute said wealth when no one has to "work"  we will see a drastic reduction in property crime.   In fact nearly all crimes with the exception of interpersonal (rape/social justice) will dive off.

Considering almost every generation has said the next one is going to doom us all or the world is going to end I don't think the human race will die ever. People say the sun will expand and we will die which is true but I am 100% sure we will be colonized on other solar systems by then. Or we discover time travel, or upload or conscious to a computer where the time inside is perceived at the tiniest fraction of real time. So you can live 10000 years in 1 second.

We'll always be poor if:

 

- lobbyists pay government officials billions of dollars to alter laws

- people go into debt to buy things they don't need like expensive cars

 

It's looking bleak.
