IIRC he started a thread in tech news about ryzen having a bug which turned out to be false, a mod locked the threaded, he accused said mod of something and got himself banned.

mostly correct. the bug exists, but had nothing to do with ryzen, as it also affected intel users. and was only on a specific linux distro, which nobody uses unless they need a specific application.   it realistically affected maybe 1000 people globally. he was banned cuz he fought to the death that it was more of an issue than it really was, hardcore anti amd with no real facts to back it up, and talked shit to every single person in that thread(including several mods who should have known better than to join the conversation). then posted another thread talking shit after a smarter mod locked it.  then was banned.

ahh. he always did act like AMD ran over his dog or something. did he accuse one of the mods for fanboyism or smth like that? don't remember much but i keep feeling the last thread was something like that.

I never knew why he hated AMD so much. Maybe an unproperly cooled 9590 with a bad board blew up his house or something.
