    AMD A4 5300 / RTX3070 / RX 5600XT

don't worry I'm not buying up all the cards I pulled the 3070 from my main PC and the other I had laying around from an upgrade

before anyone says anything, I acknowledge I'm very privileged to get a RTX3070 period, and have the other parts laying around. I just don't have the extra couple thousand for a folding PC on top of maintaining my gaming PC.

I don’t think most people have money for a folding rig based on new parts but I though you maybe trying to overtake someone.

@GDRRileyOnce this whole mining thing is over I might keep the 5600XT inside for a bit just to fold. The 3070 is going back in my main PC.

  2. Yeah. Something like a 5600X or the soon to be released 11600K since you won't be buying now.
  3. Then ask in a couple months. Don't ask now. Prices and availability change daily. We don't have a crystal ball.
  4. At 1440p the CPU makes less, but still a difference. The GPU is the main factor there. At 144hz you'll want strong single core. I'd try to get a R5 5600X, or an i5 10600K, but preferably the former.
  5. I'm referring to MSRP. I don't doubt the 3060 Ultra being 350.... but the 3060? No.
  6. I doubt the 3060 base will cost more than 300. The 3060 Ti is 400.

  8. That's just the 10100 with a higher clock rate. The 10400 or higher would be a better option. Honestly, if you haven't bought, and can wait, now is not the best time to buy a PC. Everything is OOS, and Rocket Lake + lower end NVIDIA and AMD GPUs will come out soon.
  9. Both are relatively quiet, but with a high end enough air cooler you can probably get it quieter than the pump in an AIO. AIOs however, have improved a lot since even 2014-2015 era.

  11. didn't you leave for forever as well? idk i just spent this year gaming and messing around with older PC parts. after LTX19 my interest in forums has really dipped (which was also the reason i dropped the PSU tier list)
  12. I mean, for the last year I've skipped all three. For this year, I commit to only skipping the first two
  13. I leave the forum for about a year.... and y'all are STILL on this?????
  14. i just clicked the notification button for the first time in like a year..... 700 all gone

It was likely a whole lot higher than that. It seems to wrap around inconsistently, or at least it did for me in the 2.5 years I was gone.

I left in March of 2018 and came back in September of 2020. I checked in a few times and saw very different numbers.
