i use my pc as a friggen step on somtimes to reach higher stuff in the house depending on the quality of the case u can just sit on them and stand on them even, let stand resting ur feet on there aslong u dont piss or shit in it it should be fine lol

the top? if there's a solid metal panel, yes

if it is mesh or the side panel or front, definitely NO

Should be fine. Dont cover the fan vents though (common if you tend to just rest things on top of the case)

To be honest, I do it regularly with my define r3 and Ive had 0 problems. Just don't out your fans up there.

yes it's absolutely fine.

however

don't kick it or shake your foot way too much if you got mechanical drive in there. Like I mean you're playing a  game, and you get mad cause you got good but someone else got gooder, and kick it in anger, bad. If you fidget a lot, and you tilt the case back and forth or rock it constantly, bad maybe. Shake your foot a little or just leave them there? it's fine. 

So yea go for it. 

That said, a lot of cases are thin enough that will will flex/sag over time if they have a lot of material cut out on the top for fans/rad and you have nothing installed there. Ain't hurting the computer though.

doesnt matter if you have mechanical drives, even if you kick your PC it will still be fine as long as you didnt kick it while its running (fans and mechanical drives), otherwise if it is totally fanless and has no mechanical drives, you could throw it and it will still be fine as long as the circuit boards dont break and the components stay on

I find that the Cooler Master N200 is the ideal level where you want your foot to rest while gaming or reclining in your chair and watching YouTube videos. The case is durable enough to rest your feet on, but I wouldn't recommend trying to stand on one.... Why do I sound like a commercial? It's that time of the morning.

I would never treat my case so poorly! My sub woofer on the other hand, screw that i'll put my feet up on that all day  

 

AS long as it's a metal case and you dont knock it over you're fine
