I would say yes, RGB fans slammed into a PSU gets as useless when the popularity of PSU shrouds is soaring.

 

Honestly I have an RGB motherboard, mouse, and (soon) keyboard. But my point still stands: too much RGB I feel overblows the color in your case. I mean come on, you shouldn't light up your case or setup like it's a Christmas tree!

I find it funny that so many people are annoyed by this. There are tons of other PSUs out there, so don't buy this one if you don't like it? Heaven forbid should we have options out there!

Someone has a homemade RGB lighting that lights up the wall behind your monitor.  Not in random colors though, it samples the colors being displayed and throws the edge colors out onto the wall.  Actually looked pretty cool.  Kinda helped blend the monitor to the normally bland wall.

I've built three different computers in three Thermaltake cases. Frankly, I don't get the hate. The cases of theirs I've worked with are easier to build in than some Fractals, and with better cable management space to boot.

To Thermaltake: Screw right off. I dislike RGB. The more I see it, the more I hate it and the more disgusted I am that many are attracted to this.
