Funny or too far? Razer Mocks Apple

I'm sure many have seen, but Razer recently tweeted a crude slight against Apple on twitter.

Razer responded to the negative backlash on twitter "We're not looking to offend -- just proud of our SD card slot, which is becoming increasingly rare."

 

I personally am not offended or bothered and got a slight laugh from this, but I don't consider myself very sensitive.  I don't believe this is a personal attack against women or gays like many articles claim, but I do totally understand how the crude nature presented by the tweet could be offensive.  What do you think?

well a sd card slot is always welcome. just disappointed that the macbook pro ditched it

I like it. Now install macOS on the razer blade pro and you have a real macbook pro killer. 

 

Too bad that trackpad looks like a disaster that I'd never get used to. Looking forward to Linus' review if he's doing one.

I'm not offended or anything by it, however it is pretty childish. Something a grade school kid might say to another.

I prefer something that's a bit more witty with more thought put into it.

Adapters have high profit margins. Apple loves them adapters. I'm disappointed Apple didn't release its own thunderbolt 3 dock, kind of like what MS does for the Surface Pro. I think that would've been a smart idea on their part.

apple desrved it, no matter how much I like it, it's very unlikely for me as photographer to buy a laptop without SD card slot, even if its an apple that allows a day away without charger.
