In 2005 or 2006 I got my first computer, which was a laptop. I think it was a Toshiba Tecra 7xx or something like that. (PI, Win 95, dead spot in top corner of backlight, 5 minute battery, SLOW, etc.)

First desktop was in 2006 or 07. PIII 766MHz, 256MB RAM, 64MB Radeon, 1024x768 CRT, etc.

I haven't really had up to date tech until the end of 2012 when I upgraded from my P4 system. For a while my laptop was actually better than my desktop because it had a Core 2 Duo.. I could write for pages on my computer history.. (3 desktops and over 20 laptops..) The P4 system I got in 2009 started out as a crummy Compaq low profile desktop. By 2012 I had upgraded so much that literally the only parts that didn't change were the 3GHz CPU, heatsink, (Because it was reeeealy good. I still have it.) and the CD drive.

(Tecra 740CDT. I think this was the one I had.)

iMac G3, from 1999 or 2000, it was red in color. For me and my older sister at the time to use for fun, as well as our parents work. (2005ish)

i still have a cpc-464 (from 1984) on my desk :)

I have a Sharp portable PC-whatever from 1987. :D

(I lost the MS-DOS floppy and the battery is obviously flat so it's useless.)

Atari 2600 is the first computer I ever used. First programmed one was the C64. A few other machines until the first "personal computer" which was Tiny PC with Pentium 100, 16MB RAM and a 1GB hard drive.

The Atari 2600 wasn't a "computer". It was a gaming system. It was just the first system to utilize microprocessor-based hardware. I too had a 2600 and a C64, running GEOS.

First "PC" was a 286.

First PC we ever got was some horrid HP machine running Win ME - went back under warranty a few times in the first year and was general rubbish.
Next system was my mum's new custom built system back when XP was just released, had a whopping great big 120GB HDD, 512MB RAM, P4 3.06GHz and a Radeon X300se. Thing was a beast and played everything I could throw at it.

After that came my first own personal PC which consisted of parts of these systems when they got replaced in 2006-7. Was a good little beast.

Used this as my sole computer from 2004-2011 with 0 upgrades done to the inside, by the time I opened it up in 2012 after it sitting idle for a year it was the 1st time the seal was broken and the fans wouldn't even spin from the amount of dust

My first computer was a Mitac desktop. All i know about it is it has 512 MB of RAM, a Pentium 4 of some sort actually, it's a celeron and windows XP Home.

My first computer i actually owned was a 1997 Toshiba Satellite Pro. not exactly sure on the specs, but i know it has a Pentium 3 and a DVD Drive. It was also as old as me.

Unfortunately I don't have the model numbers of either of the systems, and don't have the laptop any more.

Normandy - Intel Core i5 3470, 8 GB Corsair Vengenace LP, EVGA GTX 960 SSC, Gigabyte GA-Z77M-D3H-MVP, WD Blue 1 TB, Seagate 320 GB (steam), Seagate 320 GB (experimental, second OS, etc), Windows 8.1 + Ubuntu 14.10

Garrus - HP Stream 11

I honestly don't remember. All I remember was it ran old DOS and Win95 and I was jealous of my cousins because I couldn't play Jazz Jackrabbit on mine.
