I only have a snapchat video but I figured I'd post it anyways

The portal pc is now pretty much finished I may still add a few more small decorations like some 3d printed turrets down by the button but for now it's all working great and it's been moved into the house so I can start using it. I think it turned out pretty great. Hope you like it and thanks for following Btw I added a couple small details like painting around the temp screens and adding a button and companion cube

Cable management is now done and everything is connected. It took forever with how many cables this thing has but I'm glad it's done. Getting close to finishing up the build now

So I just ordered one of these things It's a speaker for a diy greeting card recording. This will be used to add audio every time I turn my pc on. If anyone's curious I'll obviously post pictures but you basically just record what you want on it and wire it to the motherboard speaker so the sound activates when the computer posts It's going to have the game audio "Power up initiated" from when glados comes back online and maybe some of the radio music or something lol

Haven't yet but I was thinking about getting it. My current pc has been having some issues and I think my gpu is slowly dying so I haven't played much of anything lately. I'm getting real excited to finish up the new pc though so I can start playing some more games again

Thanks guys So I've started 3d printing a couple decorations (I use a flashforge creator pro with simplify 3d) And I had to hand paint everything Next I did a little decorative work to the tubes And finally I added the tiles to the case. These are actually coasters I found on thingiverse and scaled down. Once I'm done with the other prints I'll make a post to give credit to the creators of everything I printed. (ignore the apple juice my brother thought it was

This project is long overdue for an update. Sorry for anyone interested in progress that I left waiting. My dad passed away and I completely lost interest in my hobbies for awhile so this sat in the garage collecting dust. Until now No negativity though, the point is the portal build is back! I've been working on this a lot the last couple days and been having a lot of fun with it. I got the parts in from cold zero (about 3 months later lol) and my reservoirs and fit everything in the case just to see how it would look Then I measured and marked the psu shroud fo

Been awhile since my last update. I've been waiting on coldzero to send me the case parts I ordered and can't continue the build until I have them. I placed my order around 2 months ago and had no idea it would take this long but I got an email today saying they'll be delivered on Monday. Finally, I can continue working on this build. I'll post another update soon once I get the parts in and can start making progress again
-
Yes I actually just heard back from them the other day. My order still says payment accepted but they emailed back saying they're finishing up and just needed to know what connecter I needed for the backplate light. Took about 5 weeks but I'm hoping it's worth it. Judging by other work of theirs I've seen it will be. I'd just be patient and I'm sure they'll get back to you. I had a pretty large order with some other case parts as well. Good luck

Hopefully this is in the right category. I've seen a lot of work by coldzero and it looks nice so I placed an order with them for a few items. This was over a month ago and my order progress still just says "payment accepted". I emailed them about two weeks ago asking for a rough time estimate on how long my order would take out of curiosity and never got a response. I still haven't heard from them yet. I get that it takes time to make custom parts (gpu backplates and a psu shroud) but they had no timeline info on their website and haven't responded to my email or updated the order

Banning myself for quoting the wrong person ?
-
Banned because the store I just left wanted to charge me $800 usd for a 2070 and it made me mad. (i price checked and got it at normal cost, btw. )
-
Banned for illogical reasoning as to not knowing how to give a reason to why there is no reason to give a reason for no reason

I was originally planning on using some normal looking cylinder reservoirs I had already. But then I saw these, and I couldn't resist. Personally I think these fit the build way better. They look like those transport tubes in portal 2! I ordered 2 and they should be arriving pretty soon. Let me know what you think. Novacore extreme limited edition reservoir
