My first gaming pc is the rig i have now, but instead of the fx 8320 i started with a phenom ii x4 965 BE and used an old case (horrible airflow) because i was on a budget, but still wanted a solid gaming machine.

And then when i had money i upgraded my parts, that's what we love with pc isn't it ? :P

If by "first gaming PC" you mean the first PC I gamed on it would be an old hp I used until a month ago that had a pentium D 940 dual core and 1 gig of ram, it sucked monkey balls, but the PC that is meant for gaming is the one I have now which is on my sig

First PC i've built 100% was : Amd Fx-4100, Asrock 970 Mobo, Asus Gtx 560Ti and it was built in terrible thermaltake V4 case.

But first gaming PC i have ever owned was probably something like this: Amd Athlon XP 3000+, Ati radeon 9800Pro with 128MB Vram, Creative audigy 4 sound card and some other crap. This built is however still working today unlike my first self-built machine. But it mainly acts like beerholder nowdays.

Signature is for bragging what's inside your case right? Hmm. so here it is.

Core i7 4770k @4.2Ghz Cooled by Noctua NH-U12P SE2 - Asus Maximus VI Hero - 8GB DDR3 Kingston HyperX Genesis - Gigabyte Windforce GTX 770 4GB - 2 Kingston HyperX 3K 120Gb SSDs And WD black 1TB - Corsair HX750 aaand that's pretty much it

First build

Case: NZXT phantom 820

Mobo: Asrock Z77 extreme 6

CPU: I7 3770k

GPU: GTX 680

RAM: 8GB corsair vengeance

PSU corsair silent pro gold 800W

HDD: Seagate barracuda 1TB 7200RPM

CPU cooler: corsair h100

Upgrades done since then.

Case: corsair 900D

Mobo: Asus Z87 sabertooth

CPU: I7 4770k

SSD: Samsung EVO 840 120GB

GPU: 2x GTX 680's

Water cooling: block for both GPUs and CPU, and 480mm radiator.

Biggest waste of money was on the case, 4770k and the z87 motherboard, I regret buying them.

This rig in my signature is the one that I'm currently using. Also, an Xbox One when it comes out.

A TRS-80 Model 3.  Yes I still have it; yes it still works with the exception of the 5 1/4 floppy drive.  I can still load and save programs via cassette tape however.
