The thing with the UK at the moment is, I see people that left school the same time as me being excluded multiple times, going to trial and getting community service for assault and they're better off moneywise than I. And having worked from the age of 14 and now paying a hefty amount of Tax NI and working 40 Hour Weeks. It's a little sickening and I believe it was the Labour government that made it more beneficial to not work rather than work! The Tories seem to be taking that away from people in some cases unfairly but more often than not taking it away from Bums that have never worked a day in their life and make no positive contribution to society!

Examples of people who earn more than more money than working counterparts are very rare, and then normally have 10 children or something, in some cases it is more beneficial to work than to not, but that's because of ridiculous zero hour contracts, why should people who can't find work or get something better than a zero hour contract be forced into poverty. It's not fair, if our government regulates businesses more then we wouldn't be in this situation.

It is quite common up here in the North. I'm a technical apprentice so am on a good wage. But there are cases of people that because they have a child at 16 that they're given a house money etc. Alot of my friends have lower paid factory jobs, driving cars round on the docks etc. and they'd be better off just having a kid rather than working!

I heard on the radio that apparently kids aged between 13-15 around 60% of the kids have been exposed to adult content! At 12 me and all my friends had seen bluewaffle meat spin etc. it was just the norm!

Would they really? Raising a child is very expensive. That's why so many provisions are in place to help parents on smaller incomes.

This seems like something that won't get passed if I'm honest, it sounds like a good idea but realistically it's basically just a waste of time because I'd bet that there'll be very easy ways around it.

 

How can they shut down websites that are outside the UK, anyway? If all they can do is block it in the UK, then surely it'll be similar to how you can access PirateBay in the UK.

You wouldn't believe the money they get. People around here are very good at manipulating the system. Provisions are also in place for people who don't work. Channel 4 and other channels often run programs Living on Benefits, Benefit Britain. One that always stuck in my mind is there was an 18 year old mother and a 24 year old father. They'd both never worked and they had there benefits stopped because they couldn't be bothered to go to the Job Centre. They still had their house council tax paid for. The only had to worry about food. Gas and electric. when they got their benefits reinstated they were getting around 200 a week free money not having to pay for house or anything. they got 85 Pounds a week alone in child benefits and other subsidiaries. 

The father could also be seen smoking Weed around the baby and driving around on his Mini Motor. I love the UK Chav.

This is one of those things that is not policeable. First of all there is far too many porn sites out there to realistically block (and look at how successful unsuccessful they have been at blocking sites like the pirate bay),  VPN's are all the rage now, and how the hell are they going to check that your over 18 yrs of age?

If Scotland seceded their economy would be in the shitter now, their main argument was their oil, but look at oil prices now, they plummeted  crashed and will continue to do so, and just like with Ireland, we'd have to bail out their broke arses. Nope it does not and I never applied that label i know a lot of good atheist. IS no doubt there is good and bad in all non and religious. You know anything of the dark ages in history? Well christianity let us out of the dark ages and is the basis of a lot of what the world is today not all but a lot. Where do you think a lot of the morals people have today come from? They had to start somewhere and I bet if you search back to see each moral virtue and how and where it was started there is a good chance it came from religion or another.
