What's the dumbest way you've ever injured yourself? Whether it's broken bones, loosing a limb, or just an epic tale of a paper cut, post it below :)

 

For me, it would probably be when i broke my leg last year. First time i ever broke a bone. What happened is i fell on a halfpipe. Now just to clear this up, i usually only would use my skateboard for this. And i've been on full sized halfpipes before with no problem. But then i decide to take a razer scooter off this tiny ass halfpipe at a small skatepark in my town. The very first time i drop in, i fall off, and break my left leg in 4 places. So my foot was completely sideways and i had to have surgery and like 4 months of physical therapy. Lol i got it on video though xD So what's your story?

Just a normal guy with a constant desire to modify everything he owns.

When I was 10ish I broke my nose riding my bicycle looking at the ground. I ran strait into a pole.

I tried to do handstand and I broke my toe...... Because uh..... I fell and hit a stair......

I decided to play a pick-up game of basketball wearing sandals. That didn't work out, so I took them off. Game point, I go in for a layup, lose my footing, and roll my ankle something fierce. Found out a few months later that I actually broke my ankle, and was walking on it the entire time. I've got a few bone spurs now, and it hurts hella bad to put even my own body weight on it some days.

 

Not a gross picture, but I predict it to be mildly large. This was 15 minutes after my fall.

I hit someone on the head and broke my pinky finger doing so.  they call this kind of injury the box learner. cus of how shitty you have to hit to do it.  I ususally tell people I fell down xD

Wearing no shoes, going fast downhill on a mountainbike and getting the foot into the gear. Left a half inch scar on my right foot. Now I always wear shoes when biking.

Umm let's see.

 

1. I wore shoes too tight and got an ingrown toenail for 2 years.

Punched a light pole and broke my hand.

Dropped a rock on my face and broke my nose

Throw a hammer at a window and a shard hit my nose.

I rode a bike with no hands at 30 miles and hour. I fell, and skid like 50 metres.

Either when I tried to skate down a really long slide in the rain (breaking my wrist) or when I squeezed a caffetiere too hard while washing up and sliced my thumb pretty bad, had to go to the hospital for that one too.

taking a shower I only reached down slightly to pick up my shampoo which was a 20-30 degree bend of my back and threw it out somehow. still don't know how I did it.

When I was a wee lad learning to ride my bike without training wheels, I managed to face plant on sidewalk.

 

I tore some cartridge on my nostril and a gouge on my right eyebrow. 

I don't remember going to the ER, but I had dissolvable stitches to fix my nostril. 

 

Now I have light scar that is faded on my nose 15 years later and a small patch on my right eyebrow won't grow hair back :\

Luckily it isn't noticeable as I have fairly manly eyebrows that are well defined :P .

I was 10 and playing kickball (baseball with soccer ball) and what happened was a really athletic kid in our class who was good at soccer kicked the ball really fucking hard, like im talking like the sort of kick that would send it 200-400m away. Anyways, all the kids that were my class are the kind of people who get a bit pissy when you don't catch it or something. And I tried to and ended up bending my ring finger backwards to the point where it broke. It hurt like shit and I had to go home after that. I didn't go to the hospital or anything but it's fine now.

I have a friend who's got dumb injury, my friends painted a bowling ball like a soccer ball. My friend rushed to the ball to kick it, he broke his toe like me but it's worse.....
