can confirm. smaller rounds are more deadly than larger rounds. smaller rounds are likely to ricochet off bone and musle where as a larger round will go straight through. so if you miss vital organs with a large round you better have more bullets to put down range.

Different rounds for different purposes. A .22 is good for personal protect. It's NOT good for 500 yard shots.

You're not being realistic. If you are in close quarters (a house, 10-20 feet away max where a scope would be a huge disadvantage since you can't see shit) and you're getting shot at, there's no way in hell you're going to scope in and take that shot. You'd be an idiot. Even if you did try to take that shot, you'd be shaking so bad from fear there's no way you'd hit it.

its not obsolete. people love shooting with 5.56 and .223. my ar shoots 5.56 and im madder than hell for this ban. but as far a conceal carry firearm goes, anything above a .380 is a good caliber. 45 caliber is over the top and as such my caliber of choice is 9mm.
