PCMR is launching a YouTube channel soon

So the PCMR SubReddit posted that they are launching their own YouTube channel, the reason I even care is that this channel could become really popular.

 

PCMR is currently accepting applications if you want to help them make videos.
Quotes from PCMR:
"Help us create glorious videos for the Official PCMR Youtube channel! Launching Soon"
"We're looking for some bright individuals like yourself to help create the most glorious Youtube channel that has ever existed! We're looking for ~30 of the Ascended to make youtube videos for our channel."

Here are the requirements to enter to help the channel make videos:

1) Full Disclosure of any affiliations with the game industry, journalism, or anything else that could be a conflict
2) Your age - Are you 18+? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
4) Resume/CV (Qualifications) and examples of your work
5) Can you be committed to work on videos and do you work well with others?
6) What kind of things would you like to do/create with the youtube channel?
7) Do you pray to GabeN?

What do you guys think of this? Do you think this channel will become very big? Or do you not care?
I'm personally not very exited since there are already too many gaming channels on YouTube (*Cough* *Cough* UltraNeonGaming)
But again this is a massive subreddit and this channel could grow really big.

I think that they should have released this channel much earlier if they wanted it to be popular

I really don't care. I never bother with the subreddit, so I'll almost certainly never bother with their YouTube channel.

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it. 

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff. 

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

He also forgot to mention if you dont know about the topic then dont make stuff up. Dont claim fake or assume things just by reading the title, Read the post. It doesnt matter if you made 3,000 as it could be mostly crap...

I might not be a admin but I normally see this get moved to PC gaming section on the forum. This stuff isnt considered News sadly but in all honestly I dont mind seeing it on the news section. It could help someone with there youtube or somthing :)

While i like pcs i dont like the people that shit on peoples choice to play on a console, just play on what you enjoy, id prefer it that way.

This is no different from any other tech or gaming channel, so why are people putting it on a pedestal? It's not offering anything new and the trailer isn't very enticing either.

Just for fun, I sent them a message with my "application." I am going ot laugh a lot if they accept it. It's a real application, and it would be cool to have an outlet for my video editing, but I don't even know if this is truly a channel I'd want to create for.
