GPU Upgrade

Hello,

 

I am expecting a new graphics card I just bought from best buy which is a 4080 Super Founding Edition that I will pick up in store soon, my question is that I need to know which processor is best to pair with it to get the best gaming experience, I have both 1440p and 4k gaming monitors currently. My current build as of now is a 4070 ti GPU, a Ryzen 9 5950x CPU,  and a Corsair 32 GB DDR4 Ram.

 

I've been watching videos about PC builds but I am more of a person who likes to ask the question on someone with knowledges of PC's so I can be satisfied with later results either good or bad.

Your current 5950X would be fine with a 4080S, so don't feel like you need to upgrade. If you really want to for whatever reason (say you want to sell your current system as a whole rather than just selling the GPU), the 7800X3D is likely your best bet unless you need a lot of multi core performance. It's currently the fastest gaming CPU on the market, and not that expensive.
