The article that kdrama wrote is really bad, the specs information they took were most likely taken from Game-Debate, which had predicted specs on their site for a very long time now, rockstar till today, still has not officially announced any system requirements for GTA 5 on the PC, so until they do, I would advise anyone looking for the system specs to be tread with caution.

If you want to know when the system requirements will come out, then I recommend just checking the newswire on Rockstars site, since they will release that information there first.

or its just well optimized. it can go to ways,

run on low end hardware because its its optimized, or run on a low end system because its complete crap graphicly.

granted gta 4 was crap graphically, and couldn't run well on low end hardware.

It's Core2 Duo. It's 8 years old or more. That's pathetic.

Oh? I really didn't even read any previous posts, I saw this article somewhere else 2 days ago I think? from the same sauce. The fact that it's getting more "false" attention bothers me a bit, I am seeing more and more new articles about it on other sites, of course the big boys don't fall for this stuff, but if you're like me, and googling it every day until new information comes out, then yeah.

But yeah, sorry if it seemed copied, didn't really read any of the previous posts :|

I've seen these system requirement speculations for months. 20GB of HDD space? GTA 4 was 16GB, and another 16GB for DLC.

I'll wait for this web page to be updated.

Those requirements are ridiculously low for a AAA title.

Basically what they did is just copy and paste off each other.

No info from R* yet, which basically means all of these so called "system requirements" are just pure speculation.

It honestly wouldn't suprise me if these are the actual specs. They had the Max Payme 3 team work on the port, so it should be fairly optimised

Ryze of the Phoenix:
CPU:      AMD Ryzen 5 3600 @ 4.15GHz
Ram:      64GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200Mhz (Samsung B-Die & Nanya Technology)

PSU:      Cooler Master MWE Gold 750w V2 PSU (Thanks LTT PSU Tier List)
Cooler:   BeQuite! Prue Rock 2 Black Edition

The PC GTA 5 reuirements have been revealed, and they are as follows;

MINIMUM:

CPU: Core 2 Duo E8200 2.66GHz or Phenom II X2 545

GPU: GeForce GT 530

RAM: 4GB

OS: Windows 7,8,8.1 64bit

HDD Space: 20GB

RECOMMENDED:

CPU: Core i5-2500T 2.3GHz or Phenom II X4 975

GPU: GeForce GTX 480 or Radeon HD 6970

RAM: 6GB

OS: Windows 7,8,8.1 64bit

HDD Space: 20GB

Looks like this may be a pretty well-optimized port! Obviously with the delay and all they didn't want a repeat of GTA IV...

Sweet. Not bad considering the 360 and PS3 were basically tri-core PowerPC (or in the case of the PS3) Cell processors clocked at 3.2GHz, which can probably be fairly evenly compared to a tri-core Athlon II at 3.0-3.2GHz, and the GPU was something like a Geforce 7800.

EDIT: Holy fuck. Even my proposed weekend rig can run it.
