  1. If anyone searching in the future finds this, my issue ended up being with a USB hub. I have an Aukey USB hub/ switcher that allows me to switch my mouse, keyboard, stream deck, and webcam between my personal PC and laptop. I figured out that the streamdeck and webcam both pull a lot of power (makes sense) and I can use only one or the other on the USB hub, but not both (even though it is powered) So I plugged the webcam directly into my PC since I never use it when I am on my laptop anyway. Works fine now
  2. I have a personal PC that I built a few years ago and also a Razer Blade that I use for school. I have been using the Blade for school with my monitors and desktop perhipherals/ webcam for a while now. Next semester I was really hoping to switch over to my desktop, since it is more powerful than my Blade. I often have Zoom, Word, OBS, Excel, BlueBeam, and Revit all open and my Blade really gets bogged down and bluescreens occassionally. My webcam works perfectly on my laptop, but for some reason my desktop will not recognize it. When I plug it in and open Zoom, it freez
  3. I use OBS to record my college Zoom classes and it works great. I have set up my stream deck to switch scenes between my monitors, mute and un mute my mic (both in zoom and on recording), and changed the file save location to my onedrive folder. For some reason, I cannot record or stream my laptop screen. Even when I add a new scene with a new source and select the laptop display, it just records a black screen. I have tried re installing and it didn't fix it. It used to work great in the spring. Any ideas as to why this isn't working? I have the 2019 Razer
  4. I also have a Behringer 502 USB, I don't think it can really do much for amplification for me, though. I was also getting a horiffic buzzing when I used the mic through it
  5. I have a 2019 Blade 15 from University, and I just got an Audio Technica ATR-6550X Mic Currently I am plugging it into my laptop with a USB adapter, and in zoom calls I am really, really quiet. I have everything in Zoom and Windows turned up, is there any way to further amplify it? I am also using RTX voice and that doesn't really help or hurt the issue Thanks in advance https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZPB685N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N905VOY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=
  6. I have a corded phone I use for calls when working from home. The problem is that when I'm upstairs working from home in the office the phone jack is downstairs on my comcast router. Is there some kind of wireless phone jack system or extender so I can use my phone and fax machine in the office where there's no phone jack?
  7. Due to the Corona Virus our school has sent everyone home and I now have to work through the rest of the semester (8 weeks) online. I have a school supplied Razer Blade 15 (Advanced) that has AutoCad, Revit, Bluebeam, and a few other Adobe products installed on it. These licenses are only good on this computer so I can't really transfer them to my main rig. I have 2 2560 x 1440 monitors I use on my main rig. Since the blade has HDMI, 1 USB-C port, and 2 Thunderbolt ports, could I run 2 external monitors on the blade and shut the screen, essentially using it as a docking
  8. I have a Logitech K750 Keyboard for Mac... and want to use it on Windows, but for some reason the number pad doesn't work... anyone know a way to get it to work?
  9. Anyone have recommendations on a router to pair with this? Just mainly for tinkering?
  10. Anyone know when if ever they’ll kill off Internet Explorer? My grandma barely knows how to use her computer and has been using explorer since it came out. I’ve tried to switch her to chrome many times but she just refuses to learn I’m dreading the day they kill it off and she’s dead in the water, with me being forced to teach her to use chrome
  11. Klein tools makes one, I really wouldn't recommend it. Within a week 2 of the tips fell out and went missing, and some of the others rusted out. Could I warranty it? Yes- but it's not really worth it imo https://www.homedepot.com/p/Klein-Tools-Ratcheting-Multi-Bit-Screwdriver-Nut-Driver-Cushion-Grip-Handle-32558/202970520
  12. I don't think so. I went and deleted a few of the google accounts and it took them off my phone right away, though
  13. That's the thing- they're not there. And, I've never logged into them on my computer. Only my phone For some reason it still has them associated with me though
