Mine is the pokemon one because it looked cool, even though I skinned it right away (actually bought it because I forgot I'd ordered the skin for it and had money at the time lmao). Because logic or something.

Did come in handy though, I was able to muck around in BOTW on a family trip to Nebraska, while my siblings who went down earlier with my parents were able to borrow my big Switch for Mario Kart and Smash Bros and such.

I bought a copy of Tourist Trophy two weeks ago and it showed up today, but unfortunately, the packaging was busted and the game was fucking soaked. :(

Here's a picture of it.

Remember this?

I finally got the courage to open the case and... whadaya know, the inside is as dry as can be. So the manual and the game were both perfectly intact, somehow. AND THE GAME FUCKING WORKS!

Excited to be getting this in a couple of days... had it on order for almost a year. I've read the book... I downloaded the e-book as I have with all of the others in the series... and I buy the paperback as soon as it comes out. They sit on my shelf and will never actually be read... But I love this series and I do believe in supporting the author/artist and I'm not a 'total' freeloader.  :)   But there's no way I'm waiting almost a year to read the damn book, and I prefer a physical copy of books and refuse to buy digital copies that could be removed at the whim of the the store like MS did last year.

Bought my 1st new laptop in.....a long time.

Actually need it for work (tethered photography for a project)

They raised the price 50$ inside of 2 days, but I snapped one up for less than 300$

Reviews around the web seem positive, so hopefully it'll hold up.

Digitec connect mobile subscription:

IMG_20200122_220308.thumb.jpg.885f21446a2cb29b01d5775822852bed.jpg

My brother created a connect family so each of us (a friend from my brother, my brother and I) will have 5GB of data with unlimited calls & SMS in Switzerland each month and it just costs each of us 25 bucks. You can add up to five people in a connect family and then per new member everyone will get an extra 1 GB of Data each month and the price stays the same. It starts at 3 GB of Data per month for the mobile subscriptions for Smartphones, you can also get IoT subscriptions with lower or higher to unlimited amounts of data each month but then those are meant for IoT devices.

You can take a look at all of the Tech that I own and have owned over the years in my About Me section and on my Profile.

How was the outside of the box?

Outer shipping box was undamaged, this was an Amazon 'used like new' because new was out of stock and I didn't want to wait until next month for it on the off chance new stock wasn't coming. Well now it's updated a date for in stock so I ordered new and just wait I guess.

It's not hospital clean, but it's not hampered by dust in any way. It gets a bath every few months, and since got rid of the window side panel, I'm not too bothered to keep it showroom shiny.

And BTW, the RP 600M are absolutely amazing. These speakers are probably on par, but sound different, not worse, but different. I actually really like the RP600M :)

They're growing on me. It wasn't love at first sight. But they're growing on me.

With badly recorded alt rock and indie, the plywood sounds better (the mids are ?). I was actually blown away listening to MGMT's Little Dark Age on that $10 plywood piece of junk. It sounded so good. Because that album is 100% mids. The same album on the Klipsch was... meh! I was like " Hey Yo! My MIDS!? Where did they go? "

But with almost everything else the Klipsch sound better. I suppose I'll have to listen to better music ?

I think this song might sing with the klipsch's:

Very treble and bass focused.
