#GiveSiriAFace Let’s ask apple to give siri face on her 10th birthday

As you may, or may not, know, Netflix just unveiled their vtuber to present new anime on Netflix.

Also, in October 2021, Siri will be 10 years old!!!!

 

If you are like me, you might be a bit disappointed with Siri. So I propose to give her a face. Apple has billions of dollars. If we all convince them, we might get a Siri Remake and she might get a face.

This is Tim Cooks email. I wrote a few things about how to write (or at least try) writing an email to convince Tim Cook to make something radical for Siri.

 

 

1. Start with an introduction of you

   • Your name, country, profession

   • What apple products you own

   • What you love about apple

   • What you hate about apple

2. Present the situation

   • Siri will be 10 years old in October

   • The popularity of vtubers

   • Netflix new mascot

3. Give a reason why they should care

   • Increase the respect from the people because they would listen to user feedback

   • Make the Apple Silicon a new reason to refresh Siri and make a Siri-chan to represent Apple Silicons greatness

   • Give Siri a personality

   • Show that Apple cares about their products, users, anniversaries and not about money (even thought they are a company and we know this is just semi true)

   • Jailbreak already has things like this

   • Remind them about the “Hello” on the first Macintosh by Steve Jobs in 1984

   • A lot of people will start talking about Apple again like the time they released the 700 usd pc wheels

4. Be realistic

   • They might not get it don’t get it done until ios 15.0 but they can start now, and be done until ios 15.1 or 15.2 or at worst 15.3

   • Even if some people might not like it, it’s worth a shoot.

   • It doesn’t have to be fully animated or highest quality. It can just be a picture that represents Siri.

Optional: Suggest other things like how you can help them and other things I can’t think of.

You can also write using the name “Siri-chan”.

 

 

You can also ask me for advice on how to write it if you are having trouble.

This starts to encroach into the uncanny valley. The more human you make AI, the more people withdraw from it. There's actual real psychological effects from having a disembodied voice versus even a talking emoji or something.

 

Besides it's just a bad idea in general. We don't need an Apple "Clippy".

Yes, the 2 trillion dollar company that doesn't even use Twitter definitely cares about the vtuber craze and wants to jump on that marketing craze.
