Was hoping for a video on the Retrotink-5x, with a comparison to the OSSC (Open Source Scan Converter). There's already a video on the OSSC, and I would like to see how the Retrotink-5x stacks up to it.

I have TiVo box that is always over heating and the fans fails every six months. You should do a video on water cooling a TiVo box because why not?! I'll even send a unit to you.

Long long time ago in a business foreign to gen z Nintendo release a limited run of these that were sold at THE BLOCKBUSTER VIDEO. 
it has a slow mode and a full auto mode.

Probably because there are lots of knockoffs with the exact same features are slightly better ergonomics. 

Fuck you scalpers, fuck you scammers, fuck all of you jerks that charge way too much to tech-illiterate people. 

Unless I say I am speaking from experience or can confirm my expertise, assume it is an educated guess.

I have a really crazy idea, what if you built a PC and cooled it with alcohol, and the build revolved around the alcohol theme, such as the case having woodgrain, etc.

Hi,


Make a video where you compare troubleshooting advice between Reddit (r/PcBuild, r/PcBuildHelp ... ) and pc stores/retailers. 

 

Create a few scenarios like, gpu fan doesen't spin and the computer overheats, pc crashes when I try to play the latest AAA game with my wooden office pc and so on.
Compare the advise given by the reddit threads and the "professional" advice from pc store/retailers, and see which solutions are most valid, saves most time and money, and what a lay person could actually do him/herself.

Topic For next Video -  linus you should make a video dedicated to tech recommendation for college students at least one video per year to update students with new useful tech ( like laptops etc.) i get it u have a very busy schedule for videos but once a year is a  reasonable request .

Why Don’t you make a video about PC monitors that use USB C cables for both data & power.

As everyone hates cable I don’t understand why they’re not that much popular & no much reviews about it too.


Are they good ? Can we connect two monitors to one computer using only USB C cables?

I'd love to see if you can build a cpu cooler with the water flowing directly on the cpu, i guess by "removing" the bottom of a regular water cooler and and water-proofing it. Curios about the before-after performances.

I was wondering, since NVIDIA recently added drivers for passing through hardware acceleration into VMs, would it be possible to game efficiently inside a windows 10 VM while the OS is GNU/Linux ?

 

Wouldn't that be great to have a video about it ?

I think they did the Lian Li boat PC but this one is sorta dope with the tempered glass and the fact it's a TANK

I have a Ghost Canyon Nuc 9 Extreme kit, and I absolutely dig it. But I am surprised that Team LTT hasn't taken up the challenge of water cooling the beast.  If anyone can do it and then OC the heck out of it... Would be a good show.

 

BTW has anyone here ever seen that?  Or even considered it?

I don’t think ANY of the regular LTT staff regularly read the forums with any kind of thoroughness.  I believe there is a suggestions thread or something.  I assume someone looks at that more regularly.
 

Where would you put the radiator? Part of the whole point behind NUC is extremely small form factor.  It’s not atx so it won’t fit in an atx case.  You’d basically have to build a case from scratch to house such a thing.

Just stumbled across an ad for a head set that is supposed to improve your gaming performance/concentration through tDCS which seems to be electrical stimulation of the brain. I can't find too many videos on it that are popular or aren't from the company its self. Would be interesting to see your staff try playing a game with it and without it.

 Alright this is more for Shortcircuit how about a look a the recently released HP Reverb G2 OE edition, While HTC has released multiple feature packs such as Vive Pro Eye and Vive face tracker. The Reverb G2 Omnicept Edition is the first headset to bring that and a high res display into a single package. I believe it would be an excellent opportunity to examine where VR is heading in the next three years.

you know what else that stimulates the brain? audio and music, like the time linus cried. I mean, when he made magic rain.

So long it doesnt have poor audio or audio issues like for example with wireless audio and noise canceling.

Dont remember, but they did one or two on smell (not audio) and one on I think was more surroundsound like headsets... oh yeah it was some kind of haptic/vibration mechanic.

Not much to that, unless they did something worse than what one would "expect", to different work ethics that may be good or bad used in for example china or for other materials or products. Else one could do a video on green alternatives which might have becomed lesser of with more higher powered tech. As in easier to recycle or be reused, with maybe a more special and humane product through higher standards through work, with a much higher cost.
