Fire Emblem Fates - Road Taken

 

Gives me Persona 4 vibes. 👀

I'm playing Fire Emblem Fates, yes. I tried it once, but stopped and abandoned it halfway through. Gonna try to finish it through, this time.

 

...I think I like Fire Emblem Awakening better, TBH. Playing the Revelation route, and Corrin/MC pisses me right the heck off with his ridiculously miraculous idealism -- really draws attention to the "fantasy" theme and emphasizes how it's only a video game, IMO. Oh, but I do like Azura/アクア's character. And removing the weapon durability mechanic is a huge plus.

 

AND PLS PUT ON SOME FRICKIN' SHOES, CORRIN. AAARRRGGGHHH.

Songs like this are usually an automatic favorite of mine.

Random side note: really been liking Courage My Love recently.

 

 

It's really great when bands can make songs about silly things for the fun of it. This is actually kind of a big reason I like Alestorm:
