They really need to spin up some cloud VPS as a replacement or something and then just pull the temple U servers off the network and figure out what the issue is. Considering how often this is happening just among us I would imagine that the effects across the whole network are not insignificant.

Is it just me, or are CPU WUs worth a lot more than they used to be a while ago? My 3900x running 22 threads has been getting ~300k PPD pretty consistently, which is getting somewhat close to my 1060’s PPD (500k).

Damn in a few years it won't even be worth while to buy used gpu's ? Tho TBH IF I threw $700 at a used server rack I'd prob see similar numbers...

Come to think of it would it be worth buying a ASRock H110 Pro BTC+? can pick one up on Amazon for under $100 new.

sometimes you have to reboot multiple times to get a successful download or a combination of deleting then recreating the slot. Try a reboot, watch the log and if you see a few minutes with no progress restart again. Yes, it is a pain.

Just some random stats ...

33 Team members are producing over 2MPPD

108 are over 1MPPD

233 are over 500kPPD

400 are over 250kPPD

617 are over 100kPPD

762 are over 50kPPD

999 are over 15kPPD

1374 are over 1,000PPD

So though about 2/3 of the competition’s points are produced by 100 participants there are a lot of people making up that other 1/3 who deserve a big shout-out for doing the best with what they have and contributing.

These fine folks best embody the principle behind Distributed Computing: that many small contributions can add up to help do important things.

Is this a contest now? Because if it is then @leadeater would win with his -42M point “update” ?

If they are new ish I tend to use around 10k PPD per CPU core, like Broadwell-EP and Ivy Bridge-EP generation.

I know they are the newest available for the servers I chose. I’ll update once I know exactly, but my stats don’t make much sense I must say, having those weird 2 digit updates or the famous 0 point update as my 2070 takes over 3,5-5 hours to complete a 14180

Wouldn't 1.4m-1.6m PPD be about right for what you have?

When I was just using my two 290X's I'd often get a points update of 0 but it would always be followed by the next one being bigger.
