I threw a little bit more distance between us, but just because a longer running WU landed.  Your production looks to be about double mine, so go get 'em!…but I'm still gonna make you put the hammer down to make the pass.  :P

I'm honestly surprised to still be top 500 with just a few spare old Xeon cores and a Ryzen 5.  Maybe I'll survive one more day there if I'm lucky…but holding top 500 for a week on CPU is a win in my book.  If I'm lucky, I'll be back into the overall team's top 2000 again by the end of the event.

We are producing more folding atm per week than we usually do in a month

I think so as well, I'm running CPU & GPU so the overtake is expected, but you keep on going.

Maybe we should give a badge to the most points on CPU alone? ?

I just checked my power ussage for the last few days of full folding.

It is 23kWh pr day.. ough

and with a price of arround 0.34USD pr kWh, it's gonna be an expensive month, together with the fact that i folded the whole month of september too, although only a gtx 1080, so that was a total of 368kWh for september,.....

It is all for the good cause!

SLI is not required nor recommended, as the cards are often doing different projects, and to the best of my knowledge cannot be configured to work together to fold the same protein.

On that note, I wonder how an R9 295x2 would fold, since it has 2 GPU's on the same PCB. Would that show up as two different GPU's? Would they too have their own work units assigned to each core? Would the heat output accelerate global warming by 57%?

I'm GPU folding (doing work on my laptop, but my GPU would otherwise be idle).

This is on a mobile GTX 1050, I'm only getting ~4000 PPD :(

According to this list, the GTX 1050 (normal, but mobile shouldn't be too far off) should get around 130K PPD: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vcVoSVtamcoGj5sFfvKF_XlvuviWWveJIg_iZ8U2bf0/pub?output=html

Ah, I see. I was probably being over dramatic in hindsight :P Now that I am at 1.28% it's already gone down to 18 hours and 120K PPD.

Don’t think EK will be making blocks for a 1660Ti, same as they didn’t do for the 2070 (havent looked in a while)

A lot of the 2080 EK blocks will fit on 2070s as they share the same board designs as 2080s but are usually just missing Vcore phases.

Luckily here in Canada we are now allowed to grow marijuana personally and that is the only reason I’m sure I haven’t yet had a visit from law enforcement based on my power bill.  Currently I’m running about 3kW/h Folding or $0.39/hr

I keep getting emails from my power company telling me how much worse my power consumption is that my neighbours. The funny part is until I started folding we were much lower than the neigbors as we’ve all LED lights and invested in Energy-Star appliances and limit the electric clothes dryer to off-peak hours.

Ive gone from the grumpy old man complaining about the kids leaving lights on (OMG I’ve become my father) to dammit why can’t I get my 2080 above 200W on these WUs.

I’m running a GTX 1060 in the chipset PCIe x16 (PCIe2 x4 electrically) slot on a mATX b450 and I’m not seeing any loss in performance. Mind you this is under Linux so it might handle the bus arbitration better than Windows.

I have two Titan Z (dual GPU) cards folding, and yup, each GPU shows as it's own slot and folds their own WUs. The heat output is insane as well, pretty sure they alone have melted an iceberg or two.
