LTT Official Folding Month 2019!!!

Go to solution Solved by GOTSpectrum,

Alright guys, the time for locking this thread has come, can you all please use the Folding Community Board for all further talk.

Thank you all again for participating in the event.

Once the sheet is cleaned up I will edit this post to add the link to the spreadsheet.

@TVwazhere Can you please lock this thread for me.

I had only one stuck download in whole month on my end afaik. Kinda great.

Yeah but it fits 3 wide so... With the event badges it wouldn't actually change height.

I cant find a screenshot, but back when I first became a mod I still had the LMG Pilot and BitWit badges on top of the moderator badge......

My side banner was the fattest on the entire LTT Forum ?

One word. TekSavvy. Replaced the ISP that rhymes with Hell years ago and haven’t looked back. Reasonable prices, better than great service and support, reliable upstream connections, advanced notifications for maintenance, support via  email, DSLreports forms.

Yup, sadly I'm still having connection issues, I know it's not on their end nor mine because a modem I bought allowed multiple connections and when one goes down one of the others stay connected... Stupid Bell...

Hm I have a VII and have similar problems (Similar architecture). On my side that's with the memory. I have to turn it down by 3% to prevent crashes but I am able to turn up the core by 10%

Gimme your responses; are you folding for research on any disease or are have you been folding toward a specific one?

While some of the projects fall closer to home (friends passed with cancer, extended family members with Alzheimer's.. etc). It feels wrong for me personally to specify work units from one or the other (not judging others who do this). The consequences of all the afflictions F@H deals with (also World Community Grid for that matter) are terrible. I'm just happy to help medical science in general.

try dropping the memory clock down by 100, it won't hurt performance much and it will give you an answer as to what's giving you problems pretty quick.

dropping HBM2 by 100 is a pretty big jump, thats like 10% or so

oh of course it's hbm. perhaps drop it by 25 or so then. enough to make a bump down in memory speeds for stability

probably only need 5-10Mhz tbh, or just increase mem-voltage if it can take the higher heat

TBH, my vega 64 actually did explode, blue smoke and all, killed the DP on my monitor so I have a 144hz monitor that can only be pushed with a 60hz HDMI signal...

just knock 10-15 off, that should fix the problem.

Is it an early v64? Reference?

it's the MSI air boost, basically reference pcb and cooler. it's very quiet the fan only goes up to like 45%, and temp is around 73C
