Do you need "Gaming" hardware? – Sharkoon SGD1 Review

James

All I can say now that this is becoming a trend on the same fashion as gaming chairs is that I prefer high end "office" desks/chairs.

"Gaming" desks?!

Really?

Though, it lacks the most essential thing! A cup holder....

But in all fairness. If it had a conveniently placed inbuilt USB hub, then that could have been a killer feature setting it apart from the competition.

Especially if it had RGB lighting too...

Downside for me, it doesn't seem to have enough room for my 4 displays regardless....

Need to stock up on gaming condoms

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Need to invent that two way gaming controller for that... you'll be a billionaire.   You'll be the bad guy from the movie Demolition man.

Anyway... for the giggles this is how I'd rank those things.

You guys are lame.

Fill that space up with a 34 inch monitor, flank it with a pair of speakers and add your headset stand, smartphone dock, 64oz Bubba keg and desktop DAC. Now make room up front for your keyboard, mouse pad and Warthog throttle and joystick either side.

My desk measures roughly 40 inches wide by 34 deep and I need that amount of room to fit everything listed. Of course bigger would be better but there's only so much space available before I encounter things like door ways and walls.

A two tiered desk with a sliding keyboard and mouse tray works too - I used to have one like that and it was also height adjustable with a shelf up top to fit a small printer next to the monitor.

Of course if you can build your own furniture none of this matters - just have it any way you want.

LTT sworn off motherboard reviews years ago ._. everything overclocks somewhat the same (except for aspects involving the individual board's VRM setup) and it's just ports and sockets that differentiate them, which isn't interesting on its own.

Well if all are the same, why do i see people suggesting one motherboard over another? And how good the VRM´s are is importnant. Right now you gotta rely on other customers opinions.

Also there is the chipset fans now. I am pretty sure they all behave different in noise levels. Also nice to know would be how the quality of the chipset cooling is. Does a mobo use cheap stuff for chipset cooling that is more likely to cause you problems or not?
