Can someone make a comparison of what they changed / cut out? Because i remember them saying that they will have to cut something out, but judging by the lenght of the video it looks pretty full length to me.

I believe they mentioned they would be censoring most of the cussing and compared to the uncut version there is about 20 minutes of material removed.

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

 

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

Yvonne was savage, when she walked up she looked really nervous and it took her a little while to calm herself but once she got into it my fucking god did she rip Linus a new one. There were times when I genuinely gasped, the last 2 jokes about using her finger and Linus sweating is the only time he makes her wet... I was literally crying after that.

 

Yvonne have you considered doing stand up? If not you should, you're a natural.

 

It's funny because when going into it I suspected Yvonne, Dennis and Riley would probably be the least funny out of everyone, turns out I was wrong and actually those 3 made me laugh the most.

 

Why did you feel the need to censor it though?

I've never heard of roasts before this was mentioned on WAN show, either.

 

It was quite fun. The audience did seem awfully out of touch at times however. I guess it makes sense since Linus mentioned that a lot of them were employees of Madrinas, but it made me feel a little bit sorry for James, his introduction was great even if the audience didn't really respond all that much.

It's funny. I just think everyone is uncomfortable as hell. Except for the roaster. Not everything is funny, but overall YES. It's funny. The fact you can't hear the crowd might not help.

On one hand, it sucks that you didn't get the multichannel audio for everyone's lav mics and nobody thought of micing the audience.

 

On the other hand, hearing Riley react to stuff is hilarious.

 

Also can we give Brandon a round of applause for those light stacks? They look great. The whole set looks great!

They do a roast of a celebrity pretty much once a year on Comedy Central.

 

The reason I think the audience seemed so out of touch was because they were not mic'ed up so we didn't really get their reactions.

 

I think they did a pretty good job though. I wish I could see the uncensored version.

I have to admit I watch Linus at 2x speed.... (I watch everything at 2x I don't have time to watch everything at normal speeds like I used too....)
