Nzxt has release a new gpu cooling bracket that's compatible with most of the aio and gpus.

well this is cool but im still sticking with my Accellero TwinTurbo III because its cheaper over all and my 970 wont ever go above 51C, not even in Furmark :D 

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Tried G10 and it didn't cool down VRM at all so card was crashing all the time. Even with aftermarket heatsinks on VRMs.

Never going to try anything like that again xD

Had the G10+ H55 AIO on my old R9 290. Worked great and cooled the VRMs really well (for those who think it won't). Seriously considering this for my 1070 to sustain higher boost clocks. Really like the new design as well. :)

you sure you did it right...?

Many people won't even put a fan over the heat sinks for VRMs... just the heat sinks themselves

Yes I did ... I couldn't have done anything wrong.

GPU core was sitting at less than 50°C, but to be fair, card crashed soon, so I can't tell if that's max temp that I would get.

So the only thing that could be crashing my R9 390 was VRM cooling or VRAM. Both had heatsinks on it.

 

When I put on stock cooler, it was working just fine.

Tried with G10 and again crashing very soon ... so I decided to just sell G10 + Kraken X31 and be done with that kind of water cooling.

 

I know there are a lot of happy customers that don't have any problems at all, but I just want to share my experience, so they know what can they expect.

Saw a review by Jays and it seems it actually cooled the VRMs better with the NZXT fan plus AIO then the stock cooler.   Thats got me planning on buying a G12 for my FE 1080 ti since I can never catch the EVGA hybrid kit in stock.  I have a AIO unit ready to go so this sounds great for the price.

If one was to buy a new card, what is the advantage over forking out for the Hybrids or the Seahawks? AMD's reference cards are likely to be AIOd too. Not to mention unless it's EVGA the warranty is void if you even so much as touch the PCB.

If the G12 does support GTX 960 as is specified on NZXT's page, and the fan+AIO combo is effective at keeping VRM, GPU etc. temps down, I would consider buying one as a gift for my brother, since I will assume the G12's fan is more silent than the blower-style one on his card (It's the Gainward GTX 960 2GB OC, if you were curious).

I had that card before I gave it to him, so I have experience with how loud and hot it can become during gaming.

Jay Z Two Cents did a video covering this with an EVGA GPU and found that not directly cooling the VRM made little to no difference.

He actually found it performed better. When I installed it on my card on the other hand it killed it
