Republican (and Democrat, but we'll leave them out for now) politicians have acted in favor of a lot corporatist policies for a while now. Subsidies and Regulations (especially those that act to limit competition) are anti free market which is anti right axis. The LP favors deregulation of the market,  as well as an end to corporate subsidies. 

 

Edit: The isidewith graph has different axises than the others,  which would explain why the LP is technically further left on the graph.

 

 

The isidewith graph is far worse than the other one. it goes with this horrible idea that all/most leftists are "authoritarian," and right wingers are always "libertarian" or just slightly "authoritarian" lol.

Huh, well I took it a second time around and this looks better. I was closer to ghandi prior. I think it might've been the death penalty and protectionism in trade. Those I'm neutral on... So here's one that I feel might be a bit more accurate.

I fall right on the border of Anarcho-Socialism and Libertarian-Socialism... Which is slightly surprising and doesn't make sense to me. I'm totally fine with big government and social assistance, etc, as long as the government has proper independent oversight and checks and measures against abuse.

 

I'd personally classify myself more as a democratic socialist or a social democratic.

I think I was somewhere in the middle (took this test some time ago). But really, this test only showed how I don't 100% agree with any party and choosing 1 political candidate sucks
