Berserk art sucks (manga, anime idk)

Or the illustrations are too clean, poorly detailed, and boring, or the illustrations are too heavy, there are so much details in a single scene, that makes the whole thing indistinguishable, like a patch of colour in the paper

Also the characters are pretty much poligonal.. which is meh

I agree

But the thing is that many times there is a social pressure into investing in that kind of bullcrap

Like at school, if you didn't/don't dress yourself with branded bullcrap, you could easily get mobbed

Btw do they require to pick up some specific expensive uniforms, or are they some generic design that can be found for cheap?

Because usually everything that is school related is expensive and useless af, like every year there is a new pricey edition of a book that is based on the same source as the first one

We don't pay for books until Uni they're provided by the school and the uniform is generally black trousers from anywhere, white shirt, tie and blazer with the only thing you could count as being expensive being the blazer which varies from £20-40 normally.

Well i'm a controller player myself for Call of Duty and all campaign games 😅 Just because I have been a console player for many years and only switched to PCMR in 2018. I am drastically better on Call of Duty with a controller and have 3.00+ K/D however with a KB/M I only get around 1.40 K/D. I use controller for campaign games like Darksouls etc just because it's more comfortable.

I then use KB/M though for all other compettive PC games like Overwatch, anything BR related etc.

So yeah, I don't mind if people use controller though. I understand people's annoyance at aim assist, but the reality of it after years of experience (I have also made numerous threads on this forum about this actually) an expert professional KB/M player will be better than an expert controller player. So when you get all these peeps hating on controllers players, in reality most of the time they are just lacklustre.

Well, I guess this shows how out of touch I am with the competitive shooter genre.

I was thinking controller players would be at a distinct disadvantage over kb/m players.

Yeah I guess I'm just too careful (and still learning). Still, I have to do some serious work to get our diesel car to stall, while all petrol cars I've driven stalled much easier. Not a biggie, just a minor inconvenience to me.

It's very true though; petrol cars have less torque at low rpm so they're more likely to stall.

And I like the sound more. ;)

What I like about the sound of diesel engines, is that even the smallest of them sound like a tractor, meaning you can be driving an absolutely tiny vehicle and still feel like you're in some sort of lorry. A diesel vehicle always sounds "bigger" than it actually is.

By the way, my desktop is a docked laptop. Get over it, No seriously, I have an exterrnal monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, ethernet and cooling fans all connected. Using it feels no different to a desktop, it works for several hours if the power goes out, and disconnecting just a few cables gives me something I can take on the go. There's enough power for all games I play and it even copes with basic (and some not-so-basic) video editing. Give it a go - you might just love it.

I meant the actual hardware, we can discuss the software another time.

Sure, extra power. Great. But for what? Android 10 runs beautifully on a budget Moto E from 5 years ago (flashed TWRP and a custom ROM), so it's not for the new operating system.

The trade-offs are loss of ports and really fragile glass-all-over designs.

Well in the UK, they increased the cost of going to University from £6,000 to £9,000 per year in the last 10 years. Most degrees are 3 years so that's £27,000 and not including materials, student accommodation etc.

However the student loans are a lot more forgiving; it's pretty rare to be on the hook for more than you can afford.

If I had invested the time I put into controller onto KB/M I would probably be really good at KB/M which I would have preferred because the skill ceiling for KB/M is higher in my opinion.

Aimlabs and kovaak make you really good really quick if you bother to use it frequently. I spend like 10-15 mins the days i can game. Went from 2.4 targets per second to 3.9 in a month.

(Fairly sure you can use controllers om trainers too)
